Charger for the Parrot MiniDrone battery
The much vaunted battery fix doesn’t always work. For those who haven’t researched it, even Parrot is suggesting that the quick drain of a fully charged battery is a problem with the quadcopter and not the battery itself. I can tell you that this battery failed. I know this because the battery that came with it still works as it’s supposed to work.Parrot’s fix: use needlenose pliers to gently bend the battery contacts inwards towards each other slightly in order to make better contact with the battery. I did this and the same battery was still failing. Parrot sent me a new one, though it took about a month.
I buy this product to charge battery for Parrot’s Mambo mini drone. Same as other mini drone, Mambo can flight only short time, about 9 minutes. So, if you want to play and do practice for more time, you need some additional batteries, and you need also battery charger to charge batteries simultaneously. But I don’t know why, if you use this charger, you must wait more time to charge completely than Mambo itself.
Was over 10 days til I got it, thanks to Christmas methinks. It is a tiny, wayyy overpriced item imho, butdoes work fine …. so far… am cautious in handling it, as it looks/ feels flimsy. Parrott has a captive audiencewith this unit :(
The batteries barely last 10 minutes in the drone. Thus having a plurality of spare batteries and this charger will allow you to keep playing until you’re exhausted. This is a must have item.
This is very useful since it adds about 6min on to the original flight time. And works fine.
Charges all my batteries for Parrot mini drone
Exactly as described. Fast shipment.
Works well, but since its only a usb charger you need to get a power adaptor to charge from an electrical outlet.
wery good
Best for your money because you get a battery also!
I bought this under false implications by advertising. It was not a necessary part of the purchase for the Parrot Drone.
Worked perfectly w my sons Parrot Swing Quad. Now if I can just find replacement motors to replace the one that came loose….sigh. Quad turned tri = no bueno.
Excellent
Arivved on time with no product issues
GOOD
Takes longer to charge but works fine
This charger takes about 90 minutes to charge the battery. But the same battery inside a Mambo drone takes 30 minutes to charge. Why does Parrot even sell this charger?
