Product Reviews

Broke on first use

Broke on first use, removed same tire with a different plastic lever with no problem. Took photos and requested warranty replacement from Pedro’s website and received no response. Given the number of positive reviews I can only assume that some of these are okay and some have manufacturing defects making them basically useless. Since Pedro’s never sent me a replacement I cannot comment on any successful uses of this product. For the record, my normal everyday tire levers are plastic and I have had the same set for 15 years so I don’t think that breakage of Pedro’s lever was user error. Additionally, the Pedro’s levers are significantly thicker than my old levers making them less suitable for stuffing into small seat bag.

Not worth it

These worked fine the first couple times with my road bike, but then broke while trying to take the tire off.

Nice Levers For Larger Tires

I pride myself on being able to change tires without the use of levers. Although admittedly there are those that require just a little something to get them started when removing the first bit from the rim. Because of this, I’ve purchased about every tire lever that I can find simply to try them out and see what suits me best based on the particular application. From road bike, mountain bike, bike trailer, beach cruiser and commuting bike tires and rims, all of various sizes as well as both tubed (butyl and latex), tubeless conversions as well as 100% tubeless setups (rim and tire made specifically for tubeless). These work well for larger tires but not so much for smaller tires such-as road bike tires (23, 25 or 28) on a 700 rim. The tips are just not ‘sharp enough’ to grab in the limited space.Otherwise they work great on larger tires and seem to be very strong and should last you a long time.

Strong and easy to use

I’ve been using cheap steel levers for a long time and while they were strong, I was constantly afraid of marking up aluminum rims and they did not slide around the tire easily. Pedro’s levers make a world of difference. The thin “scoop” in front is easy to wedge between the tire and rim and since it’s rounded and plastic, it’s less likely to puncture a good tube. The levers are still really strong despite being plastic and will easily slide around the rim to remove a tire once you get them in. .

Five Stars

These Pedro tire levers are my favorite ones. I been with these bad boys for a couple of seasons now and they are my go to tire levers. They are nice and strong and dont flex when installing tires. On one side of the level there’s a small gap to hold on the rim spoke so it can stay in place while you pop the bead of the tire. They also snap together into one piece. I like these feature so you won’t ever loose just one. Toss it in my bag and it’s always there when i need them. It would be very disppoin ting when you get a flat and really need tire levers to find out you only have one. Bummer

They work great

Inexpensive and work great for me removing 700c x 23 road tires. Also, work fairly well for putting the tires back on except for that last quarter or so that requires a lot of muscle. From what I’ve seen, I’ll agree with others that most companies sell tire levers in packs of 3 BUT I have seen some sold in pairs AND in my use, 2 has been plenty enough. Get the first lever on and hooked on a spoke, slide in the next lever and I can run it all the way around and remove the tire. Lastly, from my research through bicycle repair books and websites, this set from Pedro’s come highly recommended above other brands (including Park Tool).

Best tire lever you’ll ever use.

These are simply the best tire levers you can find. After a few decades of cycling and changing tires, these are the best I’ve ever used. I’ve used levers made of metal, plastic, and even the kind that extends and clips to the center axle. These lever by Pedro’s work the best. I can’t imagine they would ever break or even bend like other plastic levers. And they slide pretty well between the tire and rim when you’re removing a tire. Buy these and you’ll never go back to another model tire lever again.

Pit Stop for Bicycles

Incredibly useful especially if you ride your bike all year around, I have the same rims for my winter and summer tires so I keep this to change my tires out if I have a whole in my inner tubes or I need to change the tires when the season changes. Always use something softer than metal because you can pierce the inner tube so use these and these are durable enough to last a dozen or two tire changes so I would definitely recommend these to all people who ride bikes.

Yellow Levers. From Pedro. Vote For Pedro.

Compact design for mountain biking. SUPER sturdy! You’re gonna want these guys when you’re sitting on the side of the trail, bike upside down.

Good Equipment.

good equipment to use when changing a flat tire. I fits good around the spokes of the tire and does the job well.

Good quality tire levers

A little on the large size but they are well made and work well, very nice product for the money.

Strong and stackable

So far they seem very strong. My tire/wheel setup is pretty tight and I’m not very experienced in changing wheels and tubes, but I easily got the job done.

Too wide, too thick.

Sturdy enough, but too wide and thick. Couldnt use them on my road tires. Idk, maybe I’m using them poorly, but my other levers worked great. Will look for a slimmer set.

Best tire lever around, bar none

Pedro’s are the best tire levers available, thick and durable plastic can remove any stubborn tire. I have broken and bent so many tire levers, but these just keep working like…

Too Big

Too big
