THE best case for the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4

I tried a few different cases for my new Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, kept this one and sent the others BACK! This case is absolutely perfect! It’s very slim, yet protects the tablet nicely, adding NO bulk at all! The fact that the cover rolls neatly into a stand is quite useful AND when you close it, the tablet goes to sleep.I REALLY love this case…can you tell? If you have a Galaxy Tab Pro of ANY size, GET THIS CASE (in the appropriate size, of course!) and save yourself the time and trouble of looking for inferior cases!

Ok the case overall is a great case the only issue i have with the case i that the felt on the inside of the case leaves a marks on the screen which i remedy with a screen protector the case is thin and nice .

Don’t hesitate to purchase this case - I bought two of them

Buying items like this tells me two things:1. Markup on smartphone and tablet accessories is sickeningly high.2. The reviews on Amazon.com are more valuable than any other buying tool on the web.When I see things like $15 tablet cases vs. $40 ones in stores, it makes me wonder if I’m getting ready to buy something inferior here on Amazon. That’s where the real magic happens and one can learn the truth about what’s for sale here because Amazon doesn’t screen their reviews the way that manufacturer and distributor websites do. Believe the large majority related to this item as it is excellent. Really excellent fit on the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4”. Just take care to purchase the right model for your Samsung tablet and you’ll be extremely happy with your purchase, especially at this price point. I liked the tablet so much I bought two of them and bought a second of this case too.

Perfect Slim Fit and Bright Color

Definitely love the slim fit and easier to work to maneuver than the 360 turn only because it does not hang its easier to place to the back and no worry about it becoming bulking. It’s easy to stand if you want to watch a movie while traveling on a plan or just playing games in your lap. The color is bright and not dull as sometimes the cover do not keep the brightness when they are first purchased this color stands out and easier to see which makes it easier when trying to find your own table versus another family member when laying around in the house.

Lightweight and well-made

The Pellem 2014SC case is a slim, lightweight case for a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet. This will not fit the Galaxy Tab S or the Galaxy Tab, as the cut-outs aren’t in quite the right place. The tablet snaps tightly and securely into the case, which I like (I’m not a big fan of Amazon’s approach where the case is held onto the tablet magnetically).The top cover is held closed with a magnet and it is held well. It has the auto-wake and auto-shutoff that you would expect from a good case. Unlike some cases I’ve used, when you fold the top of the case back, you don’t run the risk of a too-strong magnet acting to shut off the tablet again.The inside of the front cover is a soft micro-fiber material that doesn’t leave marks on the screen. My experience with other tablet cases is that this material shows dirt very easily and that it cannot be easily cleaned. I have a similar tablet case for another tablet and the inside of the front cover is pretty badly stained because of my nasty habit of using this in the kitchen while cooking and eating. This is purely an aesthetic issue; it doesn’t affect the tablet.The stand is fairly basic and it only works in landscape mode, so no good way to prop it up in portrait mode to read a book or a recipe. The stand works fine on a flat hard surface, less well on a bed or, say, on your stomach while you’re laying in bed watching a video.This is not an OtterBox case. If you need a strong, protective case that will stand up to repeated bashing and drops, this likely isn’t it. On the other hand, you’ll pay significantly more for that level of protection and you’ll find that a case like that also adds considerable bulk and weight. If you just want a lightweight case for basic protection, then this case should be fine. At $12.99 at the time I’m writing this, this is a good value and I can recommend it.

Stylish, elegant and thin, but not very protective.

very good fit, very thin, pleasant and comfortable case. The fact that it is so thin, is coming at a price. The case will be protecting your tablet only against scratches, scuffs and light shocks or drops. I wouldn’t trust this case in the event of a six foot high drop on a concrete surface, or against direct hit on the lid coming from a mid- heavy dropped abject. For this reason, as the protective function is the primary function of a case, I will drop two stars out of five. for this case.

Love this case! I wanted a slim case that would not add bulk or weight to the very thin and light Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. This is it!• Good looking slim case.• Perfect fit. Tablet snaps in easily with a click and sits flat. (Just make sure to hold down each corner, with the cover on, until it clicks.)• Magnetic cover stays close and folds back to steadily prop the tablet at an angle (in landscape mode only).• Sleep/wake mode when the cover is opened and closed.• PU leather has a nice look and feel. (PU leather is real leather backing with a layer of polyurethane.)• Microfiber lining keeps the screen smudge free. (It won’t clean your screen, just keeps it from getting smudges and scratches when you pick up the tablet or place it in a handbag or satchel, etc.)• Easy to take on and off.• Excellent price.Notes: This case provides light protection and keeps the Galaxy clean. I don’t have a habit of dropping my devices, so I don’t need ugly, bulky cases. I’ve purchased similar cases for my Kindle and my 8-year-old niece’s Galaxy Tab. Both cases have held up very well after 1-2 years. I also let my 4-year-old niece and nephew play with my Kindle….they’ve dropped it a few times with no issues.People have commented on “the smell”. I have a fairly sensitive nose and I really had to get up close to smell the case. It smells like what it is: PU leather: combination of leather and polyurethane. Similar to faux leather furniture or shoes.I have the black case for my black tablet. Very classic and professional. Highly recommend.

Got this today. Fits like a glove. Only wish there was a place to keep a stylus. Fits so well it’s the same size with the case on, unlike the universal case I had been using.
