They keep breaking down!

They work well for brushing, however, they are not very sturdy. I have had Sonic toothbrushes for the last 3 years and after 6 months they give out. On this purchase one of the 2 brushes broke after 2 weeks. I got a full refund but still annoying. If they work they are actually very good, which is why I keep buying hem.I am probably on my 3d or 4th set of toothbrushes in 3 years. What usually happens when they break down is that you push the button and it will brush only for 5-10 seconds and then stop. The battery charging indicator light below keeps flashing even if it is supposed to be fully charged. I have tried different chargers to no avail. I suspect that it is somehow the charging process that doesn’t work any more.Am I the only one with this problem? Is there a way to replace the rechargeable battery. Is there a way to get these things repaired at all. They are a little pricey for just being throwaway items after 1-6 months.

Excellent product from the sonicare line

Excellent product from the sonicare line. My husband and I previously had one brush that we changed heads on but when that one finally died - we decided to purchase this one. It has the vibration pauses that signal when to switch quadrants in your mouth and comes with two travel cases. Very handy for trips. This is also the one with the shorter pop on heads instead of the screw on heads. The screw on heads become very nasty very quick underneath. Haven’t noticed any funkiness under the clear plastic brush head cover and we have been using it for a month, so overall a big improvement from our last sonicare product!

I don’t like it.

I had a higher-priced model Philips Sonicare for two or three years before buying this set, and these felt cheap. This was louder and the vibration was somehow off - one day it would be very “bumpy” feeling and the next day it would work as expected. Also, the easy start feature did not work at all. I gave up on this after only a couple of months and spent even more money on the $220 model with the glass. On the plus side, it held a charge for longer than my older model. It may be an okay upgrade if you are coming from a manual brush, but for me downgrading was a failure.

I got these because my dental hygienist recommended them. I’m still not a fan of electric toothbrushes, but so far these have been easy.I charge them every two weeks, and the pulse is pretty strong. It does have a nice feature you can use where it amps up the speed slowly until your gums get used to it, so that might be helpful if you have sensitive gums/teeth. Thus far though, I’ve liked the toothbrush and I feel like my teeth are cleaner.

So far so good. I will have to wait for full judgement. One thing that is odd. It’s been in plug for 3 days and charger light still blinks on one toothbrush, not the other. Not sure what is up with that. We leave then in plug all the time, so it works. Just not sure if the charge is full.

Nice tools also for travelling

It cleans the tees very well. Also the 30 second “pip” is helpful. The only one I do find not so good is that it stops automatically after the time.The travel case are also fine and we use it already. Overall fine. the sound is not for everbody.

Cleans like the dentist!

Feels like I just got home from from the dentist, every morning! Nice to have it already charged and ready every day as well.
