2016 best rated. Love it. Better off with this Lithium battery version, as my last electric tooth brush used Nimi batteries and it only lasted a year.TIP, Dont recharge every day. Batteries have what is called cycles and can only be recharged a number of times. This Philips brush has a battery level indicator. When I use twice a day the battery lasts about 2 weeks, which means I only need to charge about 2 times month which will make your Electric Brush battery last 4+ times longer.
5 stars for the job that is is doing - my last toothbrush was oral B, and Sonicare is a huge improvement. I started to love brushing my teeth, and feeling very clean. As other reviewers mentioned, after I while I only use the standard cleaning, so the other options are not very useful. I guess it’s good to still have the option. The reason I gave it 4 starts though is because it is not durable. A few months ago, it started to work on and off. It would work a bit, then not for a bit, then start again and so on. Suddenly, brushing teeth was not so easy, and became more time consuming and frustrating. I came here to share my experience in a review, when I read in another review that the warranty period for this toothbrush is two years. Thanks to Amazon, I knew the exact date I bought it, I registered the product with Philips, and after a short chat, a replacement is on the way.I thought I’d share this experience as well - Philips stands behind its product, and it is very easy to get the product replaced is if malfunctions while it is under warranty.
Confession: We were lured by less expensive pricing into purchasing 2 non-Philips Sonicare toothbrushes. After a short while, one of the less expensive toothbrushes broke.I decided to replace the broken ‘sonic’ toothbrush with this Philips Sonicare Flexcare and do a side-by-side comparison. Here’s the result:The higher price of the Philips is MORE THAN justifiable. The Philips’ brand is a lot more effective. The other ‘sonic’ toothbrush makes noise and seems to vibrate, but holy cow…the cheaper model is well, cheaper. From the moment you turn on both brushes, you can feel the difference in quality, motor and motion.Ever seen those vacuum demonstrations? The sales person first takes the inferior vacuum and uses it to go over a row of dirt – and as you watch the first vacuum pull up the debris, you think, “ok, it did its job.” But then(!) the sales person takes the better vacuum and goes over what the first vacuum left behind, and suddenly you realize that the first vacuum wasn’t getting the deep clean that you thought! Eeeeew! The same situation between the two ‘sonic’ toothbrushes. The Philips model is a much, MUCH better model. Don’t be fooled into purchasing an inferior brush simply because of the price.P.S. After only a few weeks of using my Philips Sonicare Flexcare Plus, my smile has visibly brightened.
This is an amazing toothbrush. I have only had it for a few weeks, and already I notice a difference. My mouth feels amazing, and my gums finally stopped bleeding. The built-in timer is a great feature that ensures you get the recommended brushing time, and the various settings really allow you customize the brushing experience. Setup was easy and initial charge took less than 30 minutes. The design is sleep and sturdy and best of all doesn’t take up too much counter-space. I think it is a great electric toothbrush that is worth the extra money.
I want to let you know that this Sonicare toothbrush is wonderful. I had been getting readings at my dental cleanings of 3-6 on several teeth. After 3 months of use, my dental hygienist was impressed! She commented about a huge improvement. All of my numbers have gone down. I even heard the number 1 several times! I’m actually looking forward to going back for my next cleaning to see if the number are even better! Who would have ever thought, considering that even in my 50’s I’m still apprehensive to go to the dentist! Ha!Thanks Sonicare for making an excellent product.I must admit it took my gums a few days to get use to the vibration, nothing painful, just different. Now though, I’m comfortable with the vibration.
Happy with item.
No where the product it used to be with the poorest instructions I’ve come across in a long time. Still have’t figured out what they’re trying to show me.
Love it!!!!
Great product!
I wanted to replace my older Philips Sonicare toothbrush as it was getting old and wasn’t holding a charge well.
Awesome toothbrush!
I’ve owned two of these toothbrushes and loved them, but unfortunately these toothbrushes don’t last much longer than two years without failing and Philips Sonicare does not stand…
My mouth feels hecka fresh since I bought this mamma jamma. I highly recommend.
had to replace me old one, really helped get my teeth cleaner (my dentist said so)
