Size:3 Count | Style Name:Gum Health-Frustration Free Packaging The Philips Sonicare Gum Health brush head. Designed to work with multiple Sonicare models, these Snap-On replacement brush heads improves gum health up to 100% vs. a manual toothbrush. Reminder bristles fade to let you know when it’s time for replacement. Replace your brush head every three months as recommended by the American Dental Association.
Used these for a couple weeks now and they seem good. I’m often told by dentists that I brush too hard, and these brush heads are very gentle. They seem to clean well but I’ll update after more time (that’s why I gave 4⁄5 stars). I was concerned about the size because I prefer compact. These are larger than Sonicare compact but smaller than standard brush heads (photo left to right is Sonicare Sensitive, Gum Health, and Compact). I will buy the Gum Health brush heads again.
I have a lower-end Sonicare and a higher-end Sonicare. The lower-end Sonicare came with the regular (Simply Clean?) stock brush heads, and the higher-end one came with these, which is how I discovered them. These are so much better than the stock and the sensitive brush heads if you’re looking for more scrubbing. Who knows what these are doing to the enamel or my gumline, but my teeth feel cleaner. If all you need is a basic Sonicare and don’t use the fancy settings on the handle (sensitive, clean and white, etc…), get the cheapest handle, then upgrade the brush refills that are mostly interchangeable.
These work wonderfully. I purchased a Sonicare toothbrush this summer with a recommendation and coupon from my periodontist. I had some seriously deep pockets in my gums and my periodontist told me I’d have to do my ‘homework’ in addition to getting root planing and scaling. After undergoing all that work I wanted to do everything I could to maintain a clean mouth and help improve the condition of my gums. I now brush as well as rinse with mouthwash three times a day and floss twice. When I went back in for my last check up my pocket numbers had drastically improved. I’m convinced that the Philips Sonicare toothbrush with these Pro Results Gum Health brush heads helped immensely.I will definitely continue to purchase and use these.
I recently started using these in place of the Plaque Control bush heads. I LOVE them. They’re much softer than I had expected & have an overall different feel when I’m brushing my teeth. As always, the sonicare brushes leave my teeth feeling as clean as they do when I leave the dentist after a pro cleaning. I recommend Philips Sonicare to anyone looking to take better care of their teeth.I started using Sonicare electric toothbrush about a year ago now & at my 6 month check up with my dental hygienist she was able to see a noticeable difference. I have a permanent retainer on the back side of my front bottom teeth. It’s very hard to clean around & I was experiencing a lot of plaque build up before I switched to Sonicare. Before Sonicare I was using the disposable Oral B electric toothbrushes which is usually around $20 for 2. So I feel like the trade off was a well decision. I don’t feel like I’m spending much more money than I usually would & my teeth feel 10x cleaner than they ever did with Oral B.
I wasn’t sure what sort of brush head to buy for my brush but since my problems seem to be mostly gum related, I went with these. It doesn’t hurt my gums or anything, which I was worried about with an electric toothbrush in general. They are soft and a good size (small)! I will definitely re order when I need to in approx 9 months (3 months per head)!
I like this, but think this is a little pricey for replacement toothbrush heads. It works well, but you can get the same thing, at a discount, at Costco, for much cheaper. Costco offers a six-pack.
these work fine with my basic sonicare. I have used 3rd party brushes (which are a lot less expensive) for many years, but this time decided to splurge and see if i could tell a difference. These do seem to be more aggressive. I don’t know if they’re worth the price premium, but they do seem to be better brushes.
I tried using non-Philips brush heads in my Sonicare toothbrush, but the quality is not the same. The Philips brush heads just seem to work so much better and last longer. From here on in, I am going to spend the extra money and go with the Philips brand.
what I exspected
Fit my handle perfectly. The head isn’t too big so I can work it into the tight places.
Great toothbrush
My Periodontist says he has seen a significant improvement in my gum health since using the Sonicare and the gum health brush heads.
I love the sonic care. The color changing heads make knowing when to change them easy.
good machine and I am happy with it
I have sensitive gums and these brushes in combo with the diamondback “gum care” option…. my mouth has never felt so good.
Replacements for my Sonicare toothbrush.
I do not believe these are genuine Philips Sonicare product. I was suspicious when I received them and the colors were not as pictured.
