Did the trick!

In conjunction with the SpyTec wire harness, this allowed me to do a professional-looking install of a DashCam to my car’s fuse box. As other reviewers have commented previously, would have been nice to include the wiring diagram. I also had some personal confusion/education about fuse sizes: standard vs. mini vs. micro, and normal-profile vs. low-profile. With this particular “Add-a-Circuit Kit”, it uses Mini sized fuses. I tried low-profile first, which SEEMED to fit, but did not make a reliable circuit connection. When I changed to normal-profile Mini fuses, I could not push them in using only hand-strength alone. But very carefully using pliers I was able to get the fuses to insert all the way (without breaking them) and now the circuit works great (but I doubt I’ll be able to extract those fuses again easily if one of them burns out).

Works as expected. PSA for individuals with new cars. Be sure to check what type of ‘mini’ blade your car uses. This may not fit some newer cars, including Hondas which require the even newer mini low profile blades.

Ok after some crimping.

Needed this to complete a fog light install on my Honda Civic. Worked well, did have an issue with the red wire not being crimped in the fuse block. Happened to pull on the wire and it pulled right out. Cut off the heat shrink, and sure enough it was never crimped on the wire. Crimped the wire and used electrical tape to reinsulate. Shouldn’t have had to do that, that’s why I knocked down a star. The added photo shows how this thing is wired. Wasn’t clear to me, so I used a meter to find the commons. The left blade in the pic should be used for power. Hope this helps.

I wasn’t sure how this would work at first, …

I wasn’t sure how this would work at first, I thought it was adding a fuse in series to an existing line, but once I received the product I realized it actually just adds another line in parallel using the fuse boxes power block. The original fuse is removed, then placed in this fuse holder and another fuse is added for the additional line. This allows two separate circuits to be run from a single socket on the power block. The product does stick out a bit, maybe 34” but the cover on my fuse panel didn’t have a problem closing after installation, though I could see this being an issue for some. The fuse holder is simple, but well built and insulated. I would purchase this product again if the need arises.

I’ve got the power…!

These worked perfectly for my 2002 Chevy Silverado. Quality is great. Intend to buy more to have around just in case. If you’re running smaller electronics I would recommend these as opposed to wiring directly to the battery. Wiring is easier and you don’t need to go through the firewall (in my application).

Works as intented. Used two mini 10amp fuses to wire up footwell lights. Works well so far!!!

Good fit for ATM Mini style

Easy to use and good fit but make sure the fuse you need is the same as this, ATM Mini which is very common.

Works Great!

It does what it’s supposed to. Even though the description says “fuse not included”, mine did come with a mini 10 amp. Easy to install, used this to free up an outlet that was being used for a radar detector.

Nice product, we’re great. I would buy it again.

Doing It Right!

This is a real necessity if you are hardwiring To a fuse panel. The days of stuffing or wrapping the hot wire are gone with this piece of electrical connection.

Did not work.

I must have gotten a dud or something because I could not get any power to pass through. I was better off wrapping the power around the fuse then wasting my time on this.

Works as supposed too, but the mini fuses fit …

Works as supposed too, but the mini fuses fit VERY VERY tight in the slots. I was scared once I got them in, I would never get out because it was so difficult to press them in.

As advertized

Works great

Used this to install dash cam in my 2006 F150

Big help!

Makes life so much easier!

Perfect

Used this to hardwire a dashcam into my 2010 Cadillac CTS, instead of using the power outlet in the car.
