Excellent quality for the price.
I am not an audiophile by any means but i have owned many speakers in the past. These speakers are excellent for the price. Sure you could get better quality speakers but IMO you would need to shell out a lot more money for them. These speakers sound excellent. I was hesitant buying them offline especially if I didn’t like them but I am happy to say I couldn’t be happier with them. I went ahead and bought the entire Andrew Jones pioneer set and its phenomenal. The sound quality is excellent. This set which cost me a little over $500 almost performs on par with my father’s home theater system and he spent around $4000 on his. My father even was quite surprised how well these sounded and said they sound just as good as his home theater system. I don’t think you can go wrong with these speakers at this price range.
Amazing value
Keep having to remind myself how cheap these are. Nice slim size. Very balanced, smooth sound with vinyl, streaming and CD. Plenty of base for music, using in simple stereo hookup just for music. I’ve got various higher end speakers in my work but don’t feeling I missing anything for music with these.If you are watching movies, a full 5.1 would make sense but two channel music, a pair of these is all you need for most normal size rooms in homes.
Amazing sound at 1⁄4 of similar spec’d speaker sets!!
Bought this as a package with the rest of the speaker set. Amazing sound for the money. I paired this up with a Denon AVR-S510BT 5.2 channel 4k receiver and it’s killing it! Easily out performs similar systems at 1⁄4 of the price. If you are looking for entry level price but solid over performing sound, this is the set. Highly recommend the Andrew Jones package.
These are a great deal
Very high quality speakers for the price. Good to listen to them side-by-side with speakers that are twice or three times the price - they aren’t perfect, but they come close. I listen to a lot of old folk and acoustic guitar music.

Very clean
Before buying the FS52, I had a pair of Dayton B652, then a pair of 3 way sony bookshelf speakers from Goodwill. After switching to the pioneers floor standing speakers, the major difference was mostly in the mids and highs. The pair of old sony had a 7 inch woofer, so the bass was decent, but the mids and highs were not as good as the pioneers. The dayton b652 was no match what so ever. The pioneers aren’t as tiring on your ears as my old sonys. I can listen to them all day no problem. The bass is pretty nice, not boomy, just there and enough for you to enjoy. Of course a 10 inch subwoofer would be nice also further down the road. The pioneer is definitely a great choice if you listen to a lot of music that includes singing. Definitely recommend you to buy it. I bought it when it dropped to $65 or so.
An excellent sounding speaker for music or movies
I love these speakers. They have good bass by themselves, but a subwoofer definitely helps them get deeper for movie special effects. Their overall sound for music is very balanced and smooth, not harsh or too subdued . A definite buy for a small intimate room. I have speakers that cost me 5X as much, and they don’t sound greatly better unless you are playing really loud, which I rarely do. These are the best inexpensive speakers I have ever owned, or listened to anywhere. They sound even better when placed on a speaker stand , to get the speaker closer to ear level when you are seated, along with a good sub woofer.

great speakers by a fantastic designer
These we a great buy–the designer usually does much hight end speakers but for the $ they are fantastic and they seem to just keep getting better.

It works great and sounds great. Be forewarned that you will need to spend a little extra cash on speaker wires and banana plugs, and the speaker is very large and pretty heavy.
I’m pleased. They still sound great
I’ve had these jewels for a couple of years now, I believe. I’m pleased. They still sound great. I also have a matching sub, which makes all the difference in the world.

Sounds great. If I were an audio nut, I might be able to give better (or lower) rating, but for this guy with average hearing and audio knowledge, these speakers are just fine!
