Feature Rich Receiver
This receiver has all the features I was looking for. 7.1 + 2 when I connect the Atmos speakers, 4K HDMI with Audio Pass Through, Equalizer settings for each speaker, Bluetooth audio, Airplay from any iOS device, A Pioneer app to change the setting with and many more I did not mention. Great Buy.
Excellent decision for a receiver

Gorgeous sounds.
I bought this to replace an older VSX-822; it’s a great step up, really nice clear sound, and Pioneer finally have stable firmware that’s easy to follow (Owners of older machines will know how buggy it used to be).Connected our outdoor speakers as a second zone and it handles the 6ohm speakers there just fine. In a perfect world I’d have preferred have a single button the remote to switch zones but that’s not going to stop me giving this receiver the 5 stars it deserves.
Pioneer VSX 1131 plenty of power and functions.
This I bought for a video/music system in a car club. I had one guy tell me that twice he heard a putting sound in the audio while he was watching cable tv, so he turned it off then on again and it went away. I will have to wait and see if it happens again. Otherwise it seems fine and does the job.
Great receiver for the price
Great value, great sound. Software updates for DTS are now available. The only downside has been Bluetooth. The range on the Bluetooth is horrible. Less than 8 feet. My previous Onkyo had a Bluetooth range of 30 feet or more indoors even with obstacles. Everything else works well, including zone 2 powered output. Room EQ much better. You can manually adjust speaker by speaker including subwoofer with graphic EQ.Auto set mode works well.Need to get used to a volume control that goes way past 0db. Settings seem high for the power output to match previous system.Missing the chromecast still, but it’s promised

Excellent system!!! Bluetooth works has excellent range (approx. 125-150 ft.) Have 9 speakers around my pool and this system doesn’t disappoint in any way. Ant.

Junk! You’ve been warned!
Tried two of these units. Bluetooth does not work properly on either (manufacturer issue) and two hdmi ports on the replacement unit failed in 2 weeks. Junk!
