Sony Just Pulled a Fast One on Everyone Buying these Controllers

It looks like all Sony did was repackage their old PS3 move controllers. As most of you know, the old PS3 move controllers had the mini USB charge port where as the newer PS4 accessories and controllers have the newer and more widely used micro USB charge ports. I thought that Sony would have at least updated these controllers with the micro ports since they will be used with the Playstation VR on the PS4, but no. These are pretty much PS3 controllers re-packaged in a box that says PS4. The nerve of them to sell these controllers in a 2-pack for $100!!! You can buy the exact same controllers in the PS3 packaging for around $25-$30! Take my advise and save yourself some money by purchasing the fully compatible PS3 move controllers for your PS VR instead.

I bout these used, but I think these are just repackaged ps3 move controllers. I haven’t bad any problems but I was led to the conclusion that these had been refurbished, however I do not think they were because I checked the model number on the back and they were the previous model released before ps4 was even around. Still works fine, could have better latency.

Lazy execution by Sony

It’s a nice gadget to have for VR, but Sony couldn’t have updated the USB connector to bring it in line with today’s standard? It still uses the 5-pin USB mini connector, instead of the micro USB-B connector everyone in the civilized world uses. It also will not charge through any of my USB wall-plugs, so it has to be connected to the Playstation, which only has 2 USB ports, one of which is taken by the VR Dongle, and one by my headset (non-VR).Seriously Sony, bare-minimal effort.

Exactly as advertised. These are factory refurbished move controllers. They do not come with any of the original packaging or documentation. There is one “mini usb fat” charging cable included. They are identical to the Move controllers produced for the PS3. There were no cosmetic flaws and they work just fine. I’ve been using them with my PS4 / PSVR with no problems. You can save around $10 - $15 off of buying two brand new Move controllers - so if you’re not precious about buying factory refurbished these are a good deal.

Okay—not worth the price really. Works okay but runs down fast and needs to be recharged all the time.

Good buy

This was a good buy for us, although we did have to re-purchase one of the connection cables as we bought open box and it was completely eroded and covered in battery acid. Luckily, the controller itself still works well.

hand held controllers for ps4

they are ok I guess,I can’t get them to hook up to my VR,only 1 will hook up for some reason. I must be doing it wrong or something so ,don’t go by my review. When I get the one working I can’t get it to maneuver the screen.
