I have purchased and used many of there flash drives from many years and have only had a problem with one of them. This is a very reliable, cheap and private storage solution for all kinds of data files and will usually play video files directly from drive. The retractable cap is a nice design because it always stays on and won’t get lost. Uploaded 28 GB of data files in exactly 1 hour and 6 minutes. Will be purchasing more in the future. I find it handy and useful to have a few of these USB sticks around. Mostly I use them to transport files to other locations or to other people.In all of my years using USB flash memory, or even SD cards, I’ve only ever had one fail on me. There are speed differences which don’t matter too much to me in a USB thumb drive, but reliability seems to be quite good no matter what brand.I recommend these flash drives.

it doesn’t work with the device I bought it for.it does work with a pc, but I either have to return it (which I don’t like doing) or it’s just going to sit in a drawer until it gets thrown away or lost.I bought this to work with a Hauppauge HD PVR Rocket Portable Stand Alone HD 1080p Video Game Recorder.all my other USB’s work perfectly, but the PNY one here doesn’t work at all.

PNY never disappoints!

Needed a thumb drive for storing a bunch of screenshots and videos and when I saw this beauty at a price that I could not believe I didn’t think twice. Yea the transfer speeds are not as fast as you might have expected but if you are patient/smart and you multitask when using then you have nothing to worry about. So good I bought my sister one and she thinks I spent a fortune, very happy overall with this product.

Reliable flash drives

I use these to back up personal videos and photos, as well as the cloud. For years I’ve seen people lose photos they’ve not backed up and I’m not going to be one who trusts years of memories to a finicky hard drive. I generally get a trusted name brand flash drive for this application because they’ve been reliable in the past. And this one was no exception.

Reasonably priced and dependable USB 2 flash drive.

Good large capacity flash drive. It isn’t USB 3 but it’s reasonably priced and a few moments of speed isn’t really that significant for me. It’s a very convenient size because 64 GB can contain a huge amount of information, photos, videos, etc. and I can use it to transfer information between computers or for temporary backup. Drive was easily recognized and installed by all my computers using Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.

The slide thingie doesn’t work very well, not smooth at all, hangs badly, stubbornly. But since it will stay plugged into my Samsung Smart TV most of the time I only took off one star. But if I needed to travel around with it I would probably return it even though it had a good price. But, like some other reviews said it is formatted FAT 32, hooray, no tinkering with it ! At least Win XP SP3 says and acts like it is. As far as I know I’ve never overtly installed any patch or upgrade for exFAT compatibility. I copied several larger files and a few smaller ones to it without any problems and then I deleted some with no problem. Free space and all that checked out. It’s not really fast but not really slow either. It is USB 2.0 working from a USB 2.0 port and it is faster than some other 2.0 drives I have. And, the TV reads its contents fine, which is why I bought it. If it lasts a long time I’ll be quite satisfied with this purchase. And oh yeah, it got here really fast but, I can’t remember which seller I used…

Mine was slow and unreliable.

Perhaps I received a defective item, but I’m not willing to give it a second chance – especially considering how similar in price USB 3.0 flash drives are today. My biggest problem with this was that it was very easily “disconnected”. If I were to plug something into a neighboring USB port, my computer would often sound the “USB device disconnected” chime, and the drive’s folders would disappear. With the slightest touch, it would reconnect. Second, Windows would frequently insist on checking the drive for errors – in its defense, though, I may have forgotten to properly click “eject” the drive from the system tray.I simply do not trust this device with my data. I am returning it for a refund. If I get another flash drive, it will be USB 3.0, and it probably won’t be made by PNY.

You get what you pay for. It’s a cheap 64GB flash drive. It hasn’t crashed entirely on me yet, but it runs extraordinarily slow (took about 12 hours to transfer 20GB of data…
