The PP258TP Pole Pruner is perfect for light maintenance of tree limbs 6 Inch in diameter and smaller. The PP258TP features an 8-inch saw bar with a 12 foot total reach with the use of the 3 foot extension. A 2 stroke 25cc engine with Surefire starting provides quick starting and plenty of power for your tree maintenance. This item is attachment capable with all ProLink attachments. 2 year warranty.

Great unit for trimming trees after a storm

Works great not to heavy to use. I am 84 and it is no trouble and I am 5 feet 2 inchs tall

Works well.

Had to by this for my neighbor after someone stole the one I borrowed off my porch. Fires right up. saws through some big limbs with ease. You do have to get the motor revved before cutting or it will bind easy.

works great and fast. easy start every time. easy pull apart for storage and carrying in vehicle without it sticking out of the bed.

Poor quality control

Got it out and used about ten minutes and started having problems it had no power and started to quit running every time I try to cut a branch. Found out you can’t adjust the carburetor without a special tool so I’m not too happy will have to buy tool or take in it to repair shop

Took awhile to get the gears of each piece to line up and engage the chain. Once lined up this tool cut through any and all branches/ limbs I put it against. Made quick work of branches/limbs that a chainsaw and ladder would have taken hours to do.

18 months later the pull cord got twisted inside and …

18 months later the pull cord got twisted inside and it’s impossible to take apart to fix - followed YouTube instructions but this model won’t let me remove the last shell protecting the cord - have to send in for repair.

Right out of the box it worked perfect. Took minutes to clean several trees of dead branches. Have now used different attatchments and it runs like a dream!
