The Charge & Display Station is the official solution for safely displaying the PlayStation VR Headset and accessories without tucking them away. Licensed by Sony and designed by PowerA, it offers a secure solution for displaying your PlayStation VR Headset in all its glory, while charging a DUALSHOCK 4 Controller and 2 PlayStation Move Controllers simultaneously. You’ve spent hard-earned money on these magnificent adult toys - keep them powered up, off the ground, and away from handsy kids or pets.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this product drives me nuts since I have to look at it everyday.Product is made out of hard plastic, so it doesn’t feel like a premium product. Overall it does feel durable, but for $50 I was expecting a little more from it.- Product somewhat delivers what it promises, you can have all accessories on the display station but the game controller fits properly.- Product is too small for the VR headset. The smallest head adjustment setting is still too large for the product, so the headset doesn’t sit on top of the display station properly.- Second feature that is affected, due to size issue listed above, are the move controllers. The VR headset sits too low on top of the move controllers, which makes them not easily accessible.Bottom line: this is a budget item for a high end product. Not sure how they managed to be a PlayStation official product. It feels rushed out of the R&D department. Save you money and buy something else.
The stand does not hold the VR headset properly. Even if you tighten the headset band all the way, it still slips off the headrest. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one with the problem. The biggest issue here is if you have PS Move controllers, the headset will slide down until it is resting on top of them. This places all of the weight of the VR headset on the soft plastic that fits around your eyes and nose. This will obviously deform the plastic over time. So not only does it not hold the headset, it will damage it.The biggest issue however is that I contacted the manufacturer a the day I received the product, which was one week ago, to let them know it didn’t fit the headset properly. I never got any response from them however, and that is much more unacceptable than a product that isn’t quite right. At this point I will be returning the product and purchasing a different brand.
If you need an all-in-one recharging stand for your Playstation controller, two Moves, and VR headset, this will do the job without taking up too much space or looking too garish. Assembley time is less than one minute. Thankfully they put the Power A logo on the back, instead of the front. The front has a simple Playstation logo. Charging time seems normal, though I haven’t sat around timing it.My only complaint is the price. At this price, I figured this stand would be a little heavier, at least at the base to ensure sturdiness. But no, it’s just lightweight plastic through and through. The stand is licensed by Sony, so that’s probably what you are paying for.Overall recommended if you need a place to dock your PSVR.Update: Reduced my rating from four stars down to three stars due to the headset part of the stand not being wide enough to hold the PSVR headset in place without it sometimes sagging down. The design of the stand should be revised to add about a half-inch to the overall circumference of the PSVR headset mount.Still recommended if you need a stand RIGHT NOW, but if you can wait for other products to reach the market, that would be a safer bet.
VR Headset band does not fit snugly in cradle, cradle appears engineered too small for diameter of headset band. even when headset band is adjusted it does not fit properly and slips down from the weight of the front of the VR headset. Seems to be poor engineering brought to market without proper testing. I would not purchase again and missed our return window deadline. You’ll be seeing this listed for sale on ebay soon.
Headset falls off
This dock is okay but its difficult to dock the controllers and even harder to keep the headset on it. I returned this.
Anyone who has a PS VR will definitely attest that having this product comes with alot of cords and alot of necessary accessories that need to be stored and charged at the same time. This product not only stores the headset, a spare controller and the wands in a very compact space (especially since I don’t have a big place), it also charges the wands/controller without needing the PS4 to be in Rest Mode (additional charger to plug into outlet). For those with kids, you can put out of reach pretty easily.
If your PSVR headset is still new, this stand works perfectly. Once you’re headset is more used and the padding is not as firm, the headset will start to slide down and knock the move controllers off.
Awsoommmeee!!
Eliminates all of the charge cords and consolidates the equipment in a neat and organized location.
Works great with the Playstation VR goggles and for charging the controllers.
headset does not stay on. do not buy this it is worthless for your vr headset
The controller charger is a pain to charge but other then that its ok for charging but looks beast
