Product Reviews

Wanted to like it, just doesn’t deliver.

So the idea is great but there are two major flaws. 1. The outlets require a lot of force to get the plugs of devices all the way in. This then either leaves the plug sticking out a bit exposing the pins (not safe) or you have to tug with a lot or force to get the plugs out (my girlfriend had a heck of a time unplugging her laptop). The other major flaw in my unit is the USB ports. There are two on one face and they are so close together there are many USB cables that are so thick I can only plug one in at a time (which is frustrating since there is so much space on that face). To add insult to injury, the USB ports stopped charging my phone after a single use forcing me to take up the outlets with USB power adapters. So all in all, great idea, terrible execution.

PowerCube with extension cord is fabulous!

Great invention! We just used this on a trip, and it made recharging phones, tablets, etc., very easy. Finding even one empty, accessible A/C plug in a hotel room is often a challengs but this gizmo solved our probem. It has 5ft Extension Cord Power Strip with 4 outlets and two USB Ports. We had plenty of plugs for everything. The benefit of the extension cord (rather than the one that plugs directly into A/C outlet) is that you only have to crawl on your knees once to plug in the PowerCube. After that, place it on a desk or night stand, and everything is at your fingertips. We got the one with the surge protector (it is gray), but PowerCube comes in several styles, each color-coded, so read carefully to be sure you get the one with the features you want.

Don’t waste your money. It’s a cheap piece of junk.

This thing broke 2 months after I owned it. The plastic housing came unglued and now all the inside wires are exposed. It’s a shame because it’s really cute but poorly made.

Buyer beware

This would have a 5 star if the sticky stuff that comes with it would actually stick and then to top it off the USB port does not work. For the price I expected it to work. I will not be buying another one.

Smart design, clears clutter o night stand

Met this guy in a hotel room during a business trip, on the hotel nightstand, and had to get one. Unclutters my cell phone and Kindle cables on my night stand. Screws on to the wall, very smart design. No fires and sparkles yet, so I guess it’s good technical quality, but can’t guarantee that. Looks and feels solid.

I wasn’t impressed. Large, cumbersome, gimmicky.

I’m not sold on it. The cube just seemed gimmicky. For how much space savings it was supposed to offer it was actually quite bulky, and once you start plugging cords and large plugs into it it becomes a ball of wires. I planned on using this inside my tool box at work but it really didn’t work out.

I love this powercube

I love this powercube, i mounted it on the wall behind my tv, instead of five cables coming down from tv to power outlets, there’s just one. Very easy to mount it on the wall.

As other reviews have stated, the sockets are very …

As other reviews have stated, the sockets are very tight. I wasn’t even able to get plugs all the way in some of the sockets. We had to return the product since its not safe to not have exposed leads because the plugs cant go all the way in.

Four Stars

Works great. Prong holes are a little tight but that is better than being loose. Works perfectly.

They work great together

A second time around. Have already purchased this item before. They work great together

The power extension is great especially with the USB charger

The power extension is great especially with the USB charger. I wish it came in 6 or 8 ft lengths. I would also be good if the USB charger was located on another side rather…

Five Stars

great

Why would you ever buy a power strip again?

So nice to have around…I bought this for my boyfriend so he could have an all-around power solution for his side of the bed and he uses it every single day!

Adhesive not good enough.

Doesn’t stick to underside of table. Cube and power cords too heavy for adhesive that comes with packaging. Aside from that it’s awesome.

loved it.

elegant and practical, loved it.

Thought it would be cool, just okay

Interesting concept, poor execution. The double sided tape used to secure the mount to your chosen surface doesn’t last…fell off after a few days.

Five Stars

This is a really handy, portable plug system.
