Brought our Neato back to life

We had an error on our Neato Botvac D80 where it kept asking us to remove the dust bin and push the switch to the “on” position. Signs pointed towards the old battery not taking a charge any longer, but our Neato is out of warranty. I took a chance and purchased the least expensive replacement battery I could find to see if it was indeed a battery issue.I replaced the old battery a couple of weeks ago with this replacement, and our Neato came back to life. Our Neato seems to be working as expected still, and as this the least expensive replacement I found on Amazon, I’m giving it 5 stars. However, I’ll update this review should performance/value diminish. I understand the batteries for the Neato are expected to last about a year.

What can you say about replacing a battery in your robot vacuum? Yes, it solved the problem that my Neato had stopped working, however, replacing the old battery was very difficult. Hope I do not need to replace this one any time soon.

Was having issues with the Neato, constantly giving errors that didn’t make sense. Once we replaced the battery, it seems to be functioning properly.

How long will this battery last?

This battery was easy to install into the Neato Robotic. I gave it 3 stars because I don’t know how long it will last. That is the real value of a battery.
