After scouring the internet for an aftermarket battery and reading the horror stories as well as DJI updates rendering them useless, I was very apprehensive about purchasing anything but a DJI battery. It arrived, I charged it, said a prayer and fired it up just as I did with the original battery. No errors to report and 3 flights without any problems. It’s takes just a touch more effort to slide it in it’s bay but it does give an audible “click” to reassure you it is securely locked in and the led’s are dimmer but that’s not a drawback in my opinion. Overall, I saved 50 bucks vs buying the original so I’m satisfied. If anything untoward happens, I will update this review.UPDATE: After flying my drone a few times with this battery it started giving me a “cell broken” error. I tried to cycle it and see if it would make the error disappear but it did not work. This is very dangerous to your drone flying so the battery is useless. I sent it back today and Amazon has issued a full refund. I guess trying to save a few bucks doesn’t pay off sometimes.

So far so good on my P3s

It worked for me. Flew it seven times already and everything looks normal. Voltage checked before and after flight. Warm and not hot to the touch. Flight time same with the original battery. Charge time also the same with the original. Cheaper than the original. I highly recommend this product and would probably be buying another one soon.

Showed a “broken cell” error after 2 days

Worked fine the first day but then it showed a “broken cell” error in the DJI GO status. Strange part is that the battery itself did not show any error status, and it seemed to charge ok. Although with that error I couldn’t trust that it wouldn’t fail while the drone was at altitude. Ended up returning it.

but I keep getting warnings about a bad cell in the pack

Battery works as advertised, great customer service. Perfect match and material quality was the same as oem on inspection. LED indicator was slightly dimmer but I like the brightness better.

Pretty good battery and for this price

Pretty good battery and for this price, it’s pretty good deal. Didn’t feel any difference from original DJI battery, except for LED lights. It’s hard to see lights during daylight, so that’s an inconvenience. I wish they used brighter LEDs and it would just be an awesome deal!

Charged fine, but app shows “broken cell” … not going to risk.updateSeller sent a new battery at no charge ….. seems to charge fine and no “broken cell” info in status …. shows as “normal” great seller and service …. recommend!

Powerextra battery

I’ve bought 2 of these in the last 2 months for my P3S. After 30 charges in the first one it still works like new. The one I just bought has 2 charges on it and it’s working just like the original. I worry about the P3s firmware upgrade blocking the aftermarket batteries so I don’t upgrade the firmware.I use Healthy Drones to monitor the batteries and so far no problems.

I was very skeptical after reading reviews about this battery. But recently I noticed they updated the Info stating it has upgraded firmware to be compatible with Dji updates.
