Needs a better Ball joint.
The Ball Joint is useless. The mount is fine and the ceiling anchors are strong but the ball joint doesn’t hold. Yes I was careful not to over tighten when I first put it up but at no point did it not sit loose in the socket. I put on about 8 layers of electrical tape over the ball and it is almost working. I am going to try and find some gaphers tape to go over the top as it has a rough surface and may hold better.

This is a great mount. Since it’s not trying to be universal it fits well in a very small space and has no slop.
Well built, harder to adjust
Fits the Optoma GT1080 projector well but adjusting can be very difficult. The off balance weight with the loose base connection makes it a bit more difficult to center the projector to the screen. Well built though!

Projector is great. Only had it for about a month, so I don’t have an opinion on longevity, but so far so good. Movies are great, videos games are great.
Great for mounting in drywall
I chose this ceiling mount for my HD26. It fits perfectly. I wanted a mount that hung as close to the ceiling as possible (some hang 6+ inches below the ceiling, no thank you).
Save a thousand bucks and get this instead!
