An easy permanent attachment installed in 10 minutes

I installed my dash cam with the included suction cup. The problem was that I cannot turn the camera facing either side of the car when the camera was so close to the windshield. I want to be able to turn the camera and record the side window if and when I was stopped and talk to the police officer. Las Vegas has extreme hot and cold temperature range from 40F to 140F. Double side tape or suction cup would not be a good permanent solution for attaching the camera to the windshield. This rear view mirror mounting kit have so many attachment adapter that I just find the one for my dash cam. Installation was very easy and took about 10 minutes. This product is highly recommended.

Great quality at a bargain price!!

This is a quality piece of hardware sold at an outstanding bargain price. I ended up using conventional nuts instead of the included wing nuts because of space constraints. There’s a wide selection of mounting options for different dash cams. However, none fit tightly on my TaoTronics TT-CD06. I took one of the included mounts that looked similar to the OEM mount and filed it down until it fit perfectly. Not a big deal. I also installed a USB outlet at the fuse box so camera is hard wired (I’m not a fan of wires going across dash to cigarette lighter).

It didn’t come with a user manual so that I had to look for it on its page. Fortunately, it was not difficult to assemble it. I has 6 different ball head with can fit most of the dash cams in the market. I am using the ball head with a standard snail and it doesn’t work smooth, but I don’t move it a lot after I installed it.

There are enough connector options to choose

there are enough connector options to fit almost all other Dash Cam Mount. I had to modify a small portion by plying down a small part to make it fit the outside. However, the important part of insert is fit perfectly (this is the important part to hold the Dash Cam in place so all are good.

Had a hard time putting this on my 2003 Eclipse …

Had a hard time putting this on my 2003 Eclipse Spyder convertible. Not so much an issue with the product as much as the way the rearview mirror is on the car because it is a convertible. Was able to get it at a weird angle and get everything to mount.

This is a great mount kit for my dash cam. I was frustrated in the beginning because I couldn’t figured out how to setup. After I google it for all that times, and it was easy. It holds my cam in place tightly. Satisfied with purchase.

I love this

Works great I have had my dash came for about a year and it has been a “witness” in two accidents that happened in front of me. I have a cam with auto start so I never have to touch it only to remove the card to down load videos.

useful kit

Get a bag of plastic parts, have to figure it out by yourself. It’s multi function, you can hook up with dash camera, gps or other devices that can fit with. Quality is fair. Only thing is this kit come without instructions.

Check the rod on your rearview mirror before buying.

I didn’t get to use mine, as my rearview mirror comes with a thin rod instead of the fat one that is shown in the illustration.

Unassembled and without Instructions to Assemble

Comes un-assembled, and, without instructions. If you are gifted with divine insight, or mechanical and can guess where everything goes - I suppose you can assemble it ok.
