Good and basic dash cam

One of the selling points of the camera is how discrete it is when it’s mounted. It fits very nicely and unobtrusive on top of the windshield behind the rearview mirror. From the outside you can’t really tell it’s there unless you’re specifically know what you’re looking for. I asked my neighbor to look at the windshield and tell me if he can spot the camera. He looked a good minute and still couldn’t tell it was there. Only when I pointed it out he said he saw it. The video quality is very good. I would say it’s on par with all the other similarly priced dash cams. My father has a $20 dash cam that he had for about a year and the video quality is definitely not as good as Pruveeo F4. Night time recording is very good too. I have HID lights on my car so they are very bright and the dark roads appear adequately bright on the recored video. I’m talking about suburb roads with no street lights. I’m sure in night city driving with street lights and multiple cars the video would be even brighter. One thing this camera lacks in motion detection. Not a big deal for me, but for some it might be a deal breaker.

Worth the price

Did a lot of research and wasn’t sure which one to go for F5 or F4, at the and decided to go with newer model F4.Great little dash cam, very high quality. Received it today, installed it and drove around during the daylight. It’s little hard to tell on a tiny screen the quality of the video so I transferred the micro SD card in to my computer and was really impressed with 1080P video and audio quality.
