Very sturdy and looks great. The wires are concealed by the cover and this is the best part of the mount that i like. There are no visible ‘cables. I am taking one star off as I wanted a shorter pipe and 3inch pipe is the minimum that they have. I wanted the projector more flushed (closer) to the ceiling. Nevertheless, I am very happy with the mount. See pictures
I purchased this for a new space in our office to use with a new projector on a 100” screen. The 6” width was a huge benefit to dial in the optimum distance away from the screen. No issues with the electrical box knockout. I wound up putting a 31” section of ceiling tile on one end and an 8” piece on the other with 24” ceiling grid pieces on each side. The included 3” tube was perfect for our installation and the HDMI and power cord were easily routed through the tube. One side to side adjustment and tilting the projector down a little was quickly done. One note: be sure and wipe down/clean the included allen tool before using otherwise you will be cleaning everything afterBasically, if I ever have to mount a projector into a suspended ceiling, I will use this mount again
We are a Pro-Audio and Mobile DJ entertainment company here in Northern California since years now; as we were looking for an unique tool to attach our existing projector to our trussing system so that we can do back projection during live show and we came across this ultimate solution from QualGear. The Pro-AV QG-KIT-TA is just the tool we were looking for, every little piece inside of the box was perfectly packaged and self explanatory, we could assemble the whole console in about 5 mins and our existing EPSON projector was just a fit like its made for it. This piece of tool is what exactly you need to mount your projector on truss and it is truly an universal mounting bracket.. it fits all three different type of our projectors. So, if you are looking for mounting bracket for your projector that you wanna hang it from your truss.. this is the tool you need.
These are really sweet as they fit in the space of a 2x2 ceiling tile and have tie points for the connection to the hard ceiling above. Only come in white, so for our black ceiling, out comes a spray bomb. Bought 3, work well, recommend.
This is a very heavy duty projector mount. Much sturdier than others I have used. My only complaint is that it does not rest flush with my drop ceiling grid. I plan to notch it out so it fits for a cleaner look.
Perfect. Easy to install. Fast shipping A+
I used this to mount my Epson 2045 projector to my drop ceiling. I didn’t know whether or not it would work with my projector (A three hole mount projector) but it worked out fantastic. Robust mount, with many safety wires, easy to install and provides a lot of flexibility in positioning.Highly Recommended !!!
Really good quality, amazed at how well built it is
