Garmin Nuvi 2589LMT

Fits a Garmin Nuvi 2589LMT like a glove. I know the description doesn’t mention the 2589 but the size between the models mentioned and the 2589 are comparable so I took a chance and went with it. It is extremely secure … read: hard as hell to get the GPS in and out.My only criticism is that the power button on the back of the GPS is covered, and that may just be the difference between the 2589 and the models this unit says it will fit. I plan on just drilling out a hole in the back of the cradle to accommodate the difference that way I don’t have to try and remove the GPS from the cradle every time I want to turn it on or off. This is a slight inconvenience, not enough IMO to deduct any points.

Works Well, a Bit Tight

Fits my nuvi 2597 perfectly and holds it very tight - too tight in fact. I downgraded to 4 stars because the gps is a bit difficult to get in and out. The upper retention arm is pretty stiff, but I don’t have to worry about the gps coming out when on the bike.

perfect!!!i had read that people had problems getting the gps in and out of the cradle, that is one of the things I love about it!!! i have this on my motorcycle so it is perfect!!!

Perfect! RAM mount makes quality products…. I’m using it on my Harley.

Does the Job very Well.

Fits my GPS well. Very sturdy. Clip that holds GPS in case is very strong. Someone with arthritis in their hands may have a hard time getting the GPS in and out. I wish they would have made the opening in the back for the power cord would have been bigger to allow you to connect the power cord, and then snap the GPS into the holder. All in all, I give it a very good rating.
