Better than expected for Kodi.

Needed a 2nd Pi for Kodi to drive another display. Cloned an existing Pi v2 microSD, changed the hostname, and booted. The v3 Pi handles hidef 1080i mpeg2 broadcast TV without the paid mpeg decoder, which is required on the v2 Pi. Of course, the h.264 hidef video is well supported by both v2 and v3 Pis.The v3 did drop the wired network connection for an unknown reason. Don’t know why. Hasn’t happened again and nothing else on the network has shown any issues.Took about 5 min to stick the heat sinks to the chips and snap the board and case together. Haven’t figured out why tiny screws are included.Using an Android device as a remote - BubbleUPnP is the least hassle, free, controller that also works with our network Plex server.Don’t know anything about wifi or bluetooth performance. Everything is wired here.

my bad not Vilros

This is exactly what the description says it is. That said, I already had an RPi case that would have worked, my bad not Vilros. I should have gotten the set with a micro SD card. This does not come a power supply or SD card which I knew. I have 5 RPi’s used for various projects. The model 3 is fast but has some attributes different from the model 2. For example, sound is now better thru HDMI port than micro jack, which is “scratchy;” also Chromium works great on a fast connection but not on a slow connection like DSL.

The product came fast as expected. The cased is nice but does not have room for a board to be put on top of the pi. It does have cutouts that allow for cable to be ran to the 40 pin header After receiving it I got a link for a free ebook which covered everything from setting up and using the pi, to programing in the languages that come in the standard distribution of software.

Great service and product

Very happy with the Pi 3 and the kit I purchased on Amazon. Item was exactly as advertised and worked with no problems at all - the plastic case fits tightly and everything is accessible. The Raspberry Pi 3 worked as it is supposed to (I made a mini-arcade cabinet using emulator software). Very happy with the service - the company also emailed me a very nice guide to the Pi that was very helpful and nicely done. Outstanding!

Good Value

I bought this RPi-3 kit as a replacement for my other Pi-3 that overheated and died (hence the heat-sink). This unit arrived promptly within 2 days and had everything it promised. It worked flawlessly out of the box.Note that it does not come with a power supply or SD card so it is mostly meant for Pi owners who already have all the requisite gear and just need the bare minimum.There was even an e-book Users Guide which I really appreciated.

Great kit except the small heat sink isn’t tight.

Good basic case. Easy to open and remove the pi if necessary.The pi was well packed.The large heat sink attached great and is very solid.The small heat sink didn’t seen to attach very tight. It moves around a bit after I stuck it on the chip.Not sure if this will cause heating issues.

Just what my son wanted

Product was slightly delayed and I was notified immediately and it was shipped within a few days earlier than estimated. The beginning set up has everything and the vendor supplied an e-book on setting up circuits. My son was so excited to get this for his birthday and I love the price!

First board

I wish I had jumped into Raspberry Pi sooner. The board was well packaged and as advertised. Load times are quick. I recently obtained a programming manual with projects and have been having a blast with it. I would recommend a project book to get started. I’ve already started thinking of some ideas. Best of all, it’s very portable.
