One of many uses
I purchased this to make a Pi-Hole. Didn’t take long to get set up in my system.
Great kit, but one small improvement is needed…
The price of this kit is great, and the device works perfectly - I had it going in minutes. The heat sinks are a nice touch, but I gave this kit four stars for including thermal paste rather than thermal epoxy or double sided tape. With just the paste, the heat sinks can just slide around or fall off during transport.
RUNNING VERY WELL.
Works better/faster than the pi2 and is a doddle to get set up and running. Great Product, currently using it as a retro games emulator and is running very well. The onboard wifi and bluetooth are especially helpful for what I’m using it for. The CPU does heat up a little more than previous pi’s I’ve noticed but it looks to be running within spec so it shouldn’t be too much to worry about, and heatsinks were included in the package. 9. Fantastic service. Excellent product .

not sure how can you give less than 5 stars to any raspberry pi 3, unless it came broken or something, Yup i know its not the fastest thing out their but for the cost vs performance it can do pretty decent with media playing , games etc. its not my first and hopefully not my last raspberry pi., until next generation this is great. this starter kit has everything but the memory card to install you OS etc. worked as intended for my media player and android OS, no issues.
Great kit, love the case
I already had a ton of samsung SD cards and HDMI cables, so I went with kit 1. Had everything you need to get going. The heatsinks are much better than those heatsinks with the 3m stick on pads and I love the case. Perfect fit, easy assembly and the 3 piece assembly is a nice touch for versatility. It even has a hole perfect for mounting.

This kit has everything you need to get started with a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi 3 is extremely fast and has WiFi built in along with an Ethernet port and 4 USB ports. This kit uses a thermal heatsink compound and 2 heatsinks. Other kits I’ve had use a peel and stick thermal tape to attach the heatsinks. This kit came with a preformatted 32 Gb Class 10 micro SD card with adapter. The micro SD card has NOOBS and Raspian already on the card so it is plug and play. The only thing missing is a keyboard and mouse. Pick up a mini wireless keyboard with touchpad and you’ve got everything you need. I plan on using this as a media center and will install Kodi on it.

Great mini computer! In comparison with the previous model, the board already has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. You can use it as a media center, like retro videoconsola, like computer with raspbian or android, to realize multitude of projects. Performs 100% good.PS: I found a very useful video on the internet and share it with you all.

Everything works fine
Run this with RetroPie and Kodi and fan, and everything works good. Connected to an old ps3 controller and everything works fine.

I love my Raspberry Pi 3! If you are new to RPi and Linux like me, you may have some of a learning curve to deal with.
Good but could be better
Good kit, but it should really include thermal adhesive/pads instead of grease. The heatsinks will slide around with the included grease.
Case doesnt work with hats
The Pi worked fine but the case design stinks. You cant put any of the hats on it such as the sense Hat. The Tabs inside the opening get in the way.
This one is the best choice
The kit is cool and comes with all the necessary parts to get it starting. Now streaming content from my Network NAS to my TV.

Mine worked for a week. No manufacturing process is 100% perfect. While I suspect all the brands are probably made at the same factory I will be ordering a different brand.
