Official Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Black Case

Officially licensed, this case provides protection from liquid spills, and other incursions that may damage the device. It is a perfect fit for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The case arrives partially assembled but it needs to be disassembled to install the motherboard. No screws are necessary and there are no instructions provided, but with only five pieces assembly is intuitive.The motherboard will only fit in the bottom one way and the top has tabs that hold it in place when snapped together. One of the side panels fits snugly over three exposed ports, and the other side panel is solid but it used to gain access to the accessory pins. The top cover is easily removed for access to the motherboard. Functional and has a simple high-tech design.

Well designed case.

Really like this case. The way the top comes off is great too, as it allows me to fiddle with the board without taking it completely out of the case. Perfect fit to, all ports are easily used. No snagging when putting in usb stuff, etc.

One of the best designs I’ve tried.

I’ve purchased and 3D printed 10’s of cases for Raspberry Pi’s and this is one of the best designed cases I’ve tried. Most cases create compromise by covering something. This case gives you access to everything through removable sides and top, as well as convenient access to the micro SD slot that lines up well and doesn’t detract from the look of the case. It’s also very professional looking if you are prototyping something around the Pi. This might become my goto case.

Protective case but be careful

This case is molded to fit the pi motherboard perfectly but be careful when installing the pi. There is a slot on the bottom to accommodate the micro SD card, I’ve already broken one card snapping the board into the case.

Great case for the Pi

Great case for your Pi3. Easy to take apart and reassemble. I was able to take it out, disassemble and reassemble with the Pi inside in under a minute. Blends nicely with all my other black devices near where it sits.I also love that there’s an opening for easy SD card removal. It came in handy when I wanted to try a different OS installation on another card.

Simple and Easy to use Case

Easy to use and fits the Raspberry Pi 3 perfectly. I have friends who bought other cases that broke or don’t fully snap together. This one is easy to put together and take apart and I’ve never had an issue with it.

The greatest case for my Raspberry PI 3. I am creating several projects with my Raspberry PI 3, and this is the first of several cases to buy. I try with few others like the crystal plastic but the delivery is really bad and then the quality.

Oh Pi!

Being new to Raspberry Pi, I wasn’t sure what to buy, being an official case I figured I would try it.Case is pretty sturdy, no fasteners or screw to worry about losing. Everything just ‘pops’ into place and is pretty straight forward.
