Official Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Black Case

Officially licensed, this case provides protection from liquid spills, and other incursions that may damage the device. It is a perfect fit for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The case arrives partially assembled but it needs to be disassembled to install the motherboard. No screws are necessary and there are no instructions provided, but with only five pieces assembly is intuitive.The motherboard will only fit in the bottom one way and the top has tabs that hold it in place when snapped together. One of the side panels fits snugly over three exposed ports, and the other side panel is solid but it used to gain access to the accessory pins. The top cover is easily removed for access to the motherboard. Functional and has a simple high-tech design.

Great Case for the Pi3

Perfect case. Easy for kids to put together and start learning how to put things together and taking them apart. All the connector slots are perfect and allow the cables to connect without a problem. Great case for the money and would buy it again.

A good case

This is a good case. The tops and long sides are removable for either access or cooling. I think it would have been better to have a flat case, but with a flat bottom it can be mounted elsewhere.

Pi 3 LED location is different from a Pi 2

Excellent case for the Pi 3. No screws and everything snaps together. A top board like a DVMEGA will fit inside the case with the top snapped on. I drilled an opening in the top Lid for an antenna port.This Pi 3b case will also hold a Pi 2b. All connections and port openings are the same EXCEPT for the placement of the small display Led’s.The Pi 3 case and board has the LED’s on the right side of the back case.The Pi 2 case and board has the LED’s on the left side of the back case.If you have a Pi 2 case and would like to use this Pi 3 case do not expect to see the LED’s

Great case if you don’t need active cooling

Good compact case. Running Retropie and it doesn’t heat things up enough to need an active fan, so this is perfect for my needs. Unplugging to power off takes some getting used to for a Pi newb, but this is great and very reasonably priced.

It’s an OK case. I was hoping for more.

I was disappointed in this case. I was expecting pieces to fit nicely and for it to be a good case that I could use to protect my Raspberry Pi, but whenever I need to access the SD card I need to disassemble it and it often will fall apart if pressure is applied.

Good for pi

This case is great. All the peices come apart. You can take the top off to get to the gpio pins or attach a display or camera. The sides come off of you need to use just the gpio pins. And it comes with little rubber feet so it doesn’t slide all over the place. Really professional looking case the Pi has come so far

Fits perfectly.

This case fits perfectly and is fully customizable to leave open the ports you need open. Top comes off to display the top side of the board while still keeping in secured in the case.

Great modular case for any application. One complaint is that it’s a little tough to open the inner cage.

Fits my 2017 raspberry pi 3 model B no problem. This is the case to buy, unless you have a hat (add-on board), in particular the servo controller hats.
