3/31/17 - oh wow, they sent me a new one. I wasn’t expecting that. Interestingly, this new one has a stronger spring tension on the sides (negative contacts), so it grabs the side of the socket much better. And viola, the charger does not pop out, as my original one did. Comparing the two, this new one is much much much better. A+++ and 5 stars.Thanks so much RAVPower team!———–I really like the RAVpower products. I have others. As for this mini charger, I have some issues.- The positive tip spring is very firm tension, so when I insert it on the cig lighter, it will pop out, leaving the tip barely contacting the +pos contact point.- With the above, the side -neg contacts on this charger are small rounded tips (see item pics), it barely has enough surface and tension to “grab” the sides of the cig light tube to keep it securely in place.So the above is a concern why? because it I hit a bump or rough road, it will jostle out enough to lose the +pos contact intermittently Then having to push it back in over and over…provided I discover that the powering device is off.Will I buy again, probably not. I need something secure to sit in the cig lighter.
Slightly larger than expected; Sufficient Amps
I have been using this for a little less than a week, so the experience is limited. Nevertheless, I have enough juice to charge 2 smart phones at the same time without any issues. Give or take, for a low-end Samsung, it charges up at about 1% battery per minute.I was expecting it to fit more flush with the car’s port face, but it sticks out about 1cm. This might actually be good, since I have something to hold to remove it

Love this dual USB charger at car, it fits in the compartment, is tight, good quality and look smart! It would be nicer if the size is a bit smaller.

It’s hard to believe but RAVPower actually managed to pack 24W/4.5A into a tiny, attractive, thumb-sized charger! Most other car chargers stick out like a sore thumb. Not this one. Overall, this is a classy little device that also works really well.

Pops out easily and not as flushed as it looks
The built and quality of this product is by far the best car charger I’ve ever owned. Its metal casing makes it feel like it will last for a very long time.
