The Revo VRS-LANC Wired Remote Control for Camcorders with LANC Terminal allows you to control zoom, start/stop recording, take photos, and power on/off compatible camcorders from up to 5’ away. It connects via a LANC connector and features an integrated clip for attaching to your tripod’s pan handle for quick and convenient access while shooting. The VRS-LANC is compact, lightweight, and easily stores in your camera bag (sold separately).

Four-Button Remote Control The wired remote lets you start and stop video, snap photos, zoom in and out, and turn your camcorder on and off.

Two-Step Zoom When used with camcorders that support the function, the VRS-LANC can control zoom at two speeds. Press the zoom button halfway to zoom slowly, and press it down all the way for fast zooms.

LANC Connector The VRS-LANC offers compatibility with most camcorders that have a LANC terminal.

Built-In Clip The built-in clip attaches the remote to you tripod’s pan handle. The oversized design provides extra leverage when opening the clip, and interior nonslip rubber pads keeps the remote securely in place.

Power and Recording Indicator LEDs Separate LEDS indicate when your camcorder is turned on and recording. The power LED glows green when your camcorder turns on, and the recording LED glows red when shooting video.

No Batteries Required The VRS-LANC is powered by your camcorder, without the need for separate batteries.

We have also used these using balun stereo over cat 5 adapters and they work fine as well

I can confirm after going through a bunch of cheap lanc remotes, this one works without the endless power on/off issues with the Sony HDR CX230 and the Canon VIXIA HF G20. The Sony HDR CX330 still will not work with any lanc remote (multi to a/v adapter used)This is smaller than the ebenk ones but is quieter and feels stronger. We use these with 300 feet of 3.5mm stereo cable with 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapters to control our front cameras in our church without any issues. We have also used these using balun stereo over cat 5 adapters and they work fine as well.

Great purchase

Perfect remote. I have used other remotes that did not indicate when recording was on or off. This remote has a little light that does so, which came in handy because I used it with a 20ft extension cable and was not in front of the video camera monitor to see if were actually recording or not.

The Record Light Stopped Working

The record light quit working the 2nd time that it was used. Wanted it for a remote control, but if the record light doesn’t work, it isn’t worth anything to me. The rest of the buttons work fine, just need the record light to work when I’m recording!

Works with BMPCC

I bought this to use with my Blackmagic Pocket Camera and it works great. The zoom functions do not work since that camera does not control zoom lenses, but the Record button works and even gives you a little indicator light that you are recording. Also it does not require any batteries.

I bought a Vivita Remote control for Canon Vixa HF G20, but there was a problem with the function of turn off button. I return it and bought this Revo remote control and this perfectly worked. Great!

Tough enough for Football Coaches

Excellent. We use it with a tower mounted camera to film football games. Most people have no clue what type of abuse this can be. Been very reliable. Definitely would recommend

Buy once cry once

Will power on camera but the zoom/ record buttons only worked for a short ( I mean like 1 try out of 50). Not a quality product. I should have known better.
