Bento Box with a built-in cooler

This nifty New Zealand version of the bento box has enabled me to enjoy healthier lunches at work. I’m able to to stow fresh veggies, fruit, a power bar, cheese cubes and cold-cuts in its two-story tight-sealing container. The rig’s nicest gimmick is a clip-on blue-ice pack that keeps the contents cool; I can leave it in my rucksack without having to resort to storing it in my office’s overcrowded refrigerator. The Lunch Blox is sturdy and washes out easily. Don’t be put off by the blue-ice brick’s overly snug fit to the bottom of the container: be patient and persistent, it will clip on easily once you’ve figured out how it works.

Used everyday in kids lunchboxes and as almond snack containers in the car

These containers are made very well - no warpage of the tops, or splits or cracks as is common with some other food storage containers. They seal well, and wash easily. I don’t particularly care for the bottom of these containers, the extended plastic border that allows them to lock together when stacked. I only comment about this because it allows the container to collect more water when it is cleaned in the dishwasher (upside down). I really like the square (ish) profile because I can fit more containers in the square (ish) lunch boxes. Round containers waste valuable real estate in a lunchbox! I have used this size for nuts, candies, dried fruit, and blueberries. They are also nicely sized for baby/toddler portions.

EDIT: One of my iceblox recently stopped snapping onto the container. I do use these a lot, so this may be the result of frequent usage. The iceblox still keeps my food cold, however.LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I use this to bring salad to work. Everything about it is perfect. I actually enjoy packing my lunch when using this product. Here are the things I love about it:-snap on ice pack-small, separate container for dressing.-upper level tray for salad components-measurements of each container on the side so you know quantities you are consuming-nice compact/square shape fits into lunch box with ease-good quality-I usually fit about 6-8 oz of chicken or fish and about 1/2c of a side item in the entree size container

I bought several of the Lunch Blox packs and use them for my husband’s lunch 4 days per week. He has a pretty big appetite and these along with the medium lunch box are more than adequate.The containers are good quality- I’ve never had any leakage by issues even with liquids. They also clean up well, I run them through the dishwasher on the top rack after each use. The salad box is so versitile. I’ve used it for salad with the topping tray full of sliced cheese, fruit, croutons, cooked bacon, nuts, seeds, etc. I get creative. I’ve also used it to hold baked potato with toppings, and even soups with cheese/ crackers. The topping tray is not airtight but stacked in a lunchbox and transported mindfully we haven’t had any issues with it.The portions are more than satisfying. The Lunch Blox system makes it easy to pack snacks and meals on the go. The smaller size containers are great for granola, trail mix, dressings, etc. We save so much money by hubby not picking up fast food for lunch, and I enjoy mixing it up and making new combos each day.

No More Soggy Salad

I purchased this after getting the Entree Kit - I bring salads to work all the time and I am always struggling to find a container small enough to carry the salad dressing. My option was bringing the container of salad dressing to work but you know how that goes when you leave something in the refrigerator at work or using a small mason jar. However, both options did not work out because fellow employees helped themselves to the dressing and the mason jar broke. The dressing container provided is big enough to hold the right amount of salad dressing for me and it does not spill out. I cannot relate to the other reviewers who experienced the dressing spilling out. Also you are provided with a removable container which can hold other toppings which can render your salad soggy by the time you are ready to dig in. I love blue cheese, avocado and sliced pear in my salads and all these items will make your mixed greens soggy.I use the sandwich container of this set to bring a sandwich to have with my salad. There is no going wrong with this salad kit and the portion control is fabulous.

Love these little things!

These containers are the perfect size for sauces, salad dressings, condiments, and whatever other little accents you need to store. No leaking so far, and they hold enough salad dressing for two to three salads. I love that they snap together, too…it makes it much easier to store them in the fridge without losing them or taking up a ton of space!

It’s good, just not very large.

This is fine if you’re not on a diet and thus eat something other than a salad for lunch. For us, we eat a very large salad with grilled chicken and I find this contraption to be a little tiny for my liking. I do love that the top compartment holds my parmesan cheese, croutons, and dressing.

Perfect for a lunch bowl.

These are perfect for a lunch bowl. I don’t use the ice tray much, i have to say, but the size is just right and i like the containers for dressing, individual items. The dressing container is just the right size. They are holding up well with repeated washings, though the bowl tends to bow in a bit over time. It is not affecting it’s functionality though, it still snaps to the lid just fine.
