Be careful! Died after a couple of months
Received this in June worked fine until yesterday. I was having problems with my mobile device shutting down and not starting up. Mobile device works as soon as I remove this Micros SD card. Putting the card in my computer I can see the files but the card is write protected. I verified that my adapter is not write protected and have tried multiple adapters that work fine with other cards. Still write protected. Many support sites state that this is a sign that the card is failing and to get my data off of it asap. I have but cannot format or erase data so my only option is to destroy card to keep data safe so that means I cannot return. Only had it couple of months. I am hoping to either hear from Amazon or Samsung but I can’t wait so I put in another Micro SD and the Mobile Device works great….just missing my data. If I hear back from Amazon or Samsung I will come back and update my review.I have many systems with many different micros SDs but this is the only one that has ever failed.update 1: Amazon made it right. I would give amazon 5 stars. I still have not heard from Samsung.
A great SD card the packaging may be a challenge.
Came with an adapter to put in a standard SD Card slot, since this only shows the microSD card the adapter allows you to put this in the normal sized slot on laptops/computers/readers. It reads at around 80MB/s and I wrote to it max at 25MB/s. It works great on tablets with a microSD card slot I assume this will work fine on my Kindle Fire 2015. This is cheaper than the Sans Disc that is certified on Kindle Fire you do not have to buy that to use this. There is no problem so far on my old tablet. I will update if this works on my replacement Kindle Fire 7 5th Generation gets here and let you readers know. Only problem I had with it was opening it. you may need to cut it down the middle of the package to open it.

I bought this for my Samsung Galaxy Edge 7 and so far it seems to work great. It performs quickly and alleviates a lot of the storage space on my phone. It also holds up well to swapping out cards. I was able to quickly transfer my files, photos, and videos off of my phone easily after putting it in. Great buy for a good price and storage.
Not for use in dashcams!
After purchasing this card I read the warranty information on the back of the packaging to see that the warranty was void when using it in scenarios which would include using it in a dashcam. Samsung support confirmed that these cards are not designed to handle that type of workload. What I needed was a “High Endurance” card like the Transcend High Endurance series. Luckily Amazon has easy returns.
If it wasn’t dead, 5 stars, only lasted 3 months.
I bought this card in January of this year (13 weeks ago). It worked great until yesterday. I woke up to notifications that the SD card had been unexpectedly ejected. It ejects itself every 10 seconds unless you remove the card from the phone. I tried a different SD card and do not get this issue at all. I tried formatting the card in my PC, which says it is write protected. I researched on forums and tried to follow their procedures. I can not format the card while it is in the phone, when I try it just ejects itself over and over. The read and write speeds are fast and the card worked great until it died. Would be 5 stars if the card could be reformatted/still work in my phone.
Failed
I don’t hate the product; it worked well, but it lasted less than a year, and I was only using it for my android phone. That’s a far cry from the 10 guaranteed ten years.The warranty said it was good for ten years. I tried to go to Samsung and claim the warranty, but I can’t find the appropriate information on the packaging on the sd card. (I cut off the top to get into the package; I don’t have that anymore, and I don’t have the adapter with me, if it would be on that.)It went downhill when it said it did not have any information on it on day. Everything came back for a little while, and I was able to grace my photos off of it, but then I lost everything on it again. My phone won’t recognize it any longer, either.I bought a 32GB for a different company for the time being.

Highly recommend this SD card for your storage needs. I have one in my Samsung Galaxy S5 Android phone and already have about 3Gigs worth of data on it. No problems in storing the files or compatibility with the Galaxy S5. This SD card will work on all Galaxy Android phones by Samsung, as long as the specs for the phone itself allow it so be sure to check your owners manual for verification. Definitely a must have for plenty of expandable storage.
