Don’t buy cheaper lower rated MicroSD cards anymore, pay 10 bucks extra for the Samsung PRO!

Met rated speeds in my Surface Pro 4. Overall solid 4K read/write as well (well shy of SSD speeds though obviously). Faster than an old school 5400RPM drive (and likely 7200RPM as well, but I don’t have one to test!). These little wonders are becoming more and more useful beyond just simply using in a camera or for bulk media storage in your cell phone.Having a plethora of cheaper Sandisk 64GB cards laying around, this thing is more than twice their speeds. I’m realizing I should have been paying attention to performance instead of price and known “not all MicroSD cards are created equal! I’m not saying Sandisk doesn’t sell a better performing model - but I, like many, picked up “cheap” MicroSD storage options over the years, and I’m learning their poor read/write performance will condemn them to the junk drawer, never to see use ever again! It’s worth paying a premium for a higher performing MicroSD cards like the Samsung PRO line, especially when that premium is a mere 10 bucks at this storage capacity.READ MORE

Samsung Rocks!!

I bought the 32GB of this product from Amazon, but it is a U1 not a U3. This card is a U3 and the difference is huge. The 64GB card I just received today is the real deal, and works very well. It came in it’s original packaging which read 90 MB/S Read and 80 MB/S write speed, and this card is dead on!! I bought this for my Galaxy S5 and there is a huge difference when watching movies, videos, and playing games from SD. I copied more music and video to this card after it was installed, and it flew through the process. Very happy and couldn’t ask for better!!READ MORE

Many other reviews have complained about the mislabeled packaging. This product came in a case with Class-10 U1 printed on the packaging and covered up with U3 stickers. Samsung seems to have issues with packaging surplus. However, the product matched correctly and was a U3 and had 64 on the card code.However, the product was as expected and benchmarked within acceptable ranges. However, note that the SD adaptor that comes with the product is not a reliable method for speedtesting the microSD. Results with a USB 3.0 card reader scored more accurately to the product specifications.Overall, this is a solid card, but Samsung needs to improve their packaging, and a stronger SD adapter would be better for users.READ MORE

Works With Go-Pros!

I bought this Micro-SD card since i needed a Micro-SD card for my Go-Pro… I have gone through trying 3 cards since not many cards work with the Go-Pro…. It worked perfectly and I ran it through and it recorded until it ran out of memory without crashing as it would with other sd cards…. It can hold about 3 hours worth of video. The card I received is a fake. It’s a 32GB card. The packaging has stickers all over it, covering up serial number and other identifying information.The read/write speeds seem right where they belong (73MB/s writing, 83MB/s reading) but the verification of data past 32GB simply fails. That means using this card to capacity will result in massive data loss.This was tested using “H2testw”, a very well-known utility to test SD cards.The output from the tool:Error reading file ‘F:\31.h2w’, offset 0x2bc00000.(The system cannot find the file specified. Code 2)Warning: Only 61023 of 61024 MByte tested.Writing speed: 73.3 MByte/sReading speed: 83.7 MByte/sH2testw v1.4The part that indicates a fake capacity is this:Error reading file ‘F:\31.h2w’, offset 0x2bc00000.(The system cannot find the file specified. It just works. I use it in an android phone. I formatted it as internal storage. I had heard that using a SD card as internal storage could slow down an android phone, but I did not find that to be true with this Class 10 ultra speed chip.READ MORE

bad reliability and poor samsung support

I bought this 32GB microSD PRO card in 2014 and used it with samsung galaxy tab s. recently I found that this card is not visible from tablet and all my pictures also.

Fantastic, functions as listed. Way cheaper than stores. If anyone has an issue with using this card, look into how to format an SDXC card into Fat32.
