Great Streaming

I ordered and returned 3 other DVD players including a Sony. All the other units would either buffer when streaming from Netflix or stop altogether. This one does not. It has great picture quality. I wish I could customize the landing page. It may have that capability but I have not found it. I dont find the menu as easy to use as the sony. However it is good, I just find the Sony easier to use. If you are going to be streaming from the internet I highly recommend this DVD player.

Great little BD player

Great little BD player. We purchased to replace an old one that started skipping and freezing.Loads DVD’s in seconds in contrast to our old one that took minutes.Paired easily with our Logitech remote.Small form factor is good for our media cabinet.The one thing that is a little bothersome is the controls on the box are on top instead of the front so you can’t stack anything on top that is similar sized.

Nice for the Price

A nice, inexpensive smart blu-ray player. It has a display so you know it is on, which was an issue with last years model. I’ve had no issues streaming video from Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu and Crackle. On the downside, there doesn’t seem to be a way to delete the Sumsung sponsored apps.

Works as expected.

Works great. Had to buy this to replace my 5 year old Sony bluray player. They stopped updating firmware to accommodate the latest encryption on movies. Bummer because that player worked just fine. I wish I had the ability to connect to my network server to stream music from it.

Go big Blu, Go

All for one and one for all; this player works for me. I can now watch my Dvd and Blu-ray Video disk movies using the Digital Optical output Audio along with the 5.1 channel Decoder and speakers I bought with enjoyment. The remote works with my Samsung TV - On/Off, volumn and input source. Hook up was easy with only three connection in the back; I used the player to watch video off the internet.

Convenience, worthwhile features, and nice styling, at a very competitive price.

This Blu-ray player has a lot of features that were lacking in my previous unit. It is much easier to place and remove a disc on the tray than the LG player, and this unit can link to my UHD TV to make controlling both from a single and very intuitive remote so easy and convenient. This DVD player upscales HD content to nearly 4K and SD content to nearly HD, so the picture is very nice. It also sports a surround sound output capability of 7.1 channels to take full advantage of my 7.1 surround sound system, even though not all content is available in 7.1 channels (the bulk of today’s content comes in 5.1 channel surround sound programming).

Solid and easy to use.

This little player does its job very well. It is compact and easy to use. Plays our movie cds from Netflix without a hitch, as well as our music cds. Has been reliable and quietly efficient, which is what I bought it for.

Intermittent sound when streaming on two of these players.

Bought two of threse. One for a brand new Samsung ks8000 65” and one for an older 32” Samsung.

Perfect for streaming from home media server

I bought this Blu Ray player in order to stream movies from my home media server. It is the only player I have tried that actually supports mkv files.

Excellent BluRay Player

This is a terrific BluRay player with excellent wi-fi. Have two of ‘em and love both. Remote could be better (nicer if lit) but oh, well. 2D and 3D flawless.

No RCA connectors, even for audio? You MUST be joking! Not everyone has money to blow on the latest 8K equipment of whatever. C’mon, no one is even broadcasting past 1080p.
