This is a very reasonably priced sound bar that delivers theater quality sound. The unit will accept Blue Tooth, optical, or 3.5mm jack input. My TV is over 12 years old and did not come with an optical jack for audio output. However, my Direct TV box does have optical so I fed the sound bar from it. The sub woofer is wired with a nice long wire so you can set the speaker where ever you want it near the TV. The remote is small and easy to use. If you have an Android phone, there is an app that will replace the remote. Most important, and the reason I bought a bar, is that I have not heard voices this clearly since buying the TV 12 years ago. The details of the sound a very good and the sub woofer fills the back ground with sounds never heard before. For the price, I can’t see how you can go wrong.
Exactly what I was looking for. Works perfect. Adds great sound to my 65” Sharp Aquos TV. Offers bluetooth and several customizable functions such as treble, bass, and subwoofer adjustment. Samsung puts out great products so I’m not surprised. Highly recommend. Does come with wall mount brackets as well. Considering buying a second for my bedroom wall mounted TV.
I love this thing! I use it for the TV/Xbox and I plug my iPod into it. I hope my neighbors don’t mind!! ;)
I recently got a new 4K Samsung TV & what I can’t understand is why the sound on the TVs are so horrible. You have to put it up to almost all the way just to hear it. I saw this sound bar & after reading the reviews & for the price I got it. I couldn’t be happier. I now can enjoy my new TV with beautiful sound. You don’t have to spend thousands to get great sound. I recommend this sound bar for anyone who wants better sound or to make the tv sound better. Love it.
I had no idea how tinny my tv sound was. To listen without straining I had to set it to max volume. I was getting concerned about my hearing, so I went for a hering test. the technician determined my hearing was normal, but a soundbox with a sub woofer might help. Did it ever! now I can really tell the difference and now hearing or volume is not a problem
Love this soundbar! Have purchased two so far (one for us and one as a gift) and truly recommend. The display is such a nice feature. The Bluetooth connection works well and we use it frequently for streaming music. This soundbar just works very well in a room that is very wide but shallow (and other much more expensive soundbars have sounded like crap in this room).
I should have gotten this a year ago, then I wouldn’t have had to struggle with the sound on the TV itself. Unit is small and unobtrusive, and the sub-woofer fits 10 feet away in a corner behind one of my main stereo speakers. The sound is magnificent; I’m extremely happy with the result. And the best part is that it works over bluetooth, so no wires, and I turn the TV on and a few seconds later the sound bar kicks in automatically. The only nitpick is that due to the geometry the TV pedestal (it’s a Samsung 65 inch with the 4 splayed feet) and the depth of the surface on which it rests, I had to put risers under the feet of the sound bar to get it to clear the TV pedestal. I got a couple of tiny glass mise-en-place bowls from Crate & Barrel, and they work perfectly.
I should have made this move a long time ago. I’ve got a little 29” Bravia Hi-Def TV with less than optimal sound.Maxed out it still sounded stuffy, like head congestion feels. I thought my hearing was at fault, but friends and neighbors and, indeed, reviewers at this site were making the same kinds of comments, and this unit got really good reviews from people that spoke my language about stereo stuff.Knowing Amazon’s generous return policy would be my friend if I disliked it, I ordered up and opted for 2 day delivery.Fed Ex delivered it at noon of the second day in good shape and ready to hook up.I chose to use the optical digital in outlet on the main bar and ran it to the appropriate outlet on the TV.NOTE: You’ve got to cut those crummy TV speakers out of the equation and let this sound bar and boom box do its work.I was up and running in 5 minutes. This thing comes with a little USB adapter thing if you want to go that route, but the op/digital is the way to go.Also included is a little wall bracket kit with a paper template for positioning it on a wall surface. The bass boomer comes with about 20 feet of cord hard wired with a plug that runs to the sound bar.I tried it on an R&B music channel to give it the ultimate test and it performed admirably and the various settings let you tailor it to your listening tast.In all I’m glad I got this sound bar and I won’t be asking for my money back, unless of course it flops on me.
The sound is excellent from The Sound bar as well as the subwoofer.
Nice system, wish we would have gone wireless.
works really good and is good for the price. only problem I had was connecting it with my tv with bluetooth
Item received as described.
works great
Auxiliary cable was not included in the box. Although inexpensive, it was frustrating I had to buy it on my own.
Works fine everything I expected for the price.
Worked for about a year. Now the audio cuts out randomly, making it useless. Do a quick search and you’ll see that this is a known, common problem with Samsung sound bars, and…
Bought the 2015 model brand new.. sound settings are great, much better then tv speakers. Easy hookup to our Vizio and fast delivery
