The Samsung logo goes UP!!!

This review is for those shopping and for those who already bought it.First things first: the Samsung logo goes UP!!! This is not intuitive. You would think that the logo would face out towards you which also makes the bar “taller” and thus feel like it has bigger speakers. Not so. It lays flat and you can’t see the Samsung logo from the couch. For all the questions / reviews saying it doesn’t fit under the TV or the remote doesn’t work, I suspect it’s because they’ve got the logo facing out. It changes everything.Now, for those who are shopping: this soundbar system is well designed, easy to use / set-up (once you figure out the logo orientation) and pairs well both with my Samsung 8000 series TV via optical cable and my iPhone via bluetooth. The Sports setting is by far the best, with all of the sound settings maxed out (Treble, Bass and Subwoofer level all at +6). There is supposed to be a 7-band EQ option but I couldn’t figure it out, and I care about that kind of stuff. Perhaps that only activates if you purchase the optional rear speaker kit. I didn’t.Is it mind-blowing? No. Is it better than the onboard speakers? Definitely. Does it look cool? Yup.If you’ve got a Samsung TV, you want better sound and think $250-ish is the right price point, then you won’t be disappointed with this. If you’re an audiophile and want crisp highs, thundering lows and warm mids, then buy a proper home theater system from Klipsh, B&W or JBL, but also be prepared for a thinner wallet and lots of visual clutter in your living room.Hope this helps.

Great soundbar, great sound quality, great price

I’ve had this soundbar for a little over a month now, and set-up was straight forward and pretty simple. Only snag I ran into was related to my surge protector; it had a couple outlets that didn’t work and I was initially trying those. After I moved to plugging it straight into the wall outlet itself, I realized it was the couple of outlets on my surge protector. Once I found one that worked, set up was easy and seamless. The soundbar paired with the subwoofer with no issues. Sound quality is great. I was worried that it wouldn’t have enough bass (as I like bass), but it’s got just enough and it isn’t overpowering. I found this soundbar from the ratings on a well known publication that rates consumer products and services, and I’m happy I used their review in my decision to purchase this soundbar. I’m not using the wall mount as I have it below my TV on the TV stand, and I’m also not using the optional rear speakers.

I love this sound bar!

Did a lot of searching and finally settled on this sound bar and reading all the reviews. What a difference! Two years of turning toe sound up almost all the way, I finally pulled the the plug and bought it. What a difference. Don’t hesitate to pick this up. Easy setup and decent instructions. I also have a Samsung television which made set up a breeze.

Great pairing with my Samsung TV

Set up was a breeze with a new Samsung 4K SUHF TV. Perhaps not as much bass as our old surround sound system but adequate. Now the decision is whether to buy rear bluetooth speakers.

What a difference a Samsung soundbar makes!

A great addition to the television experience.I am now spoiled and cannot imagine watching T.V without a soundbar.The clarity of the sound is amazing.

Crappy shipped to the Bahamas came in an unmarked box

Crappy shipped to the Bahamas came in an unmarked box , no instructions and to add insult it never worked. Impossible to ship back to much red tape. Very disappointed.

Does not stay connected via BT. I only use that method to connect so I only need one remote. Could take or leave this sound bar. Expected more from Samsung.
