It is different from the gray-colored Pro card**** old model tested, not the current U3 model***** old model testedFastest Sequential Read:All tested cards were able to accomplish > 90MB/s, with the Lexar 1000x able to take advantage of UHS-II speed when using the bundled USB reader and leading the packFastest Sequential Write:Sandisk Extreme Pro, Samsung Pro+, Transcend Ultimate 633xFastest Random Read:Kingston 90R/80W.Fastest Random Write:Samsung Pro+Best overall:Samsung Pro+ and Sandisk Extreme ProOther observations:Performance and price are not proportional when it comes to selecting a microSD card. Some of the worst performing cards in this review also happen to be the most expensive. Not all 633x cards are created equal. The two cards reviewed from Lexar and Transcend are both marked as 633x but vary in performance greatly.4k video recording using action cams and drone cameras have a typical bitrate of 60mbps or 100mbps, corresponding to 7.5MB/s to 12.5MB/s. All cards in this review should theoretically be able to handle this usage easily.Using microsd card as supplemental phone storage potentially could benefit from a faster card,Best Looking Card (if it matters):Sandisk Extreme Pro: Red/Gold with white printLexar 1000x: White/Gold with Black/White printSamsung Pro+: White/Black with a red stripe and Black/White printPNY Turbo: Lime Green/Black with Black/White printNote that the review is for the card itself, not any of the sellers that currently sell this card on Amazon. I obtained the card from a reputable retailer elsewhere on the web as noted in the review.Update 9/14/2015: added additional cards to the list

Very fast, highly compatible, perfect as expanded storage for mobile phones that can still use cards like these!

Excellent card - fast, error free. I use this as expansion memory for my Droid Turbo 2 64GB phone, and have directed Android to use it for photo storage, and have set Google Play Music to use it for music downloads and caching. Works flawlessly. Being able to add expanded memory to the phone has changed the way I use it and some of the apps I use. Thinking now that a 128GB version of this would be great – next on my list when the price is reasonable. 64GB, though, is quite a lot of space. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this - seems to be an excellent product all around, and probably one of the fastest on the market as of the beginning of 2016.

Great upgrade for my phone using Marshmellow with 16 + 64GB storage …

I got this for my Moto X Pure Edition with Marshmellow OS. Installed in the phone using the Internal adoptable memory option now part of the Marshmellow OS. My phone with 16GBs was running out of memory. This card, now installed with games and other apps shows no slow down when loading apps. Great upgrade for my phone with 16 + 64GB storage now.

Great card.

I have experienced zero problems with this card. The card does exactly what they say it will do. Great price for a quality card!

I am pleased with the performance of this device

I am pleased with the performance of this device. It has a few allocated gigabytes that are not formatted for use but this can be fixed if one knows how. I have been using this SD card for a little while and while I can’t judge the long term viability of it’s life span (this is hard to guess with any device) it is very good and a quick transferring card. I have reformatted it to NTFS without problems although one would have to be careful about what settings are chosen on a flash memory device with NTFS reformatting. All the same this memory card is serving it’s purpose well and I would buy it again if and when another is needed.

Unless it is a throw away like a memory stick

My third Samsung memory purchase in the last couple of years. Unless it is a throw away like a memory stick, it pays to go high quality in my opinion.

Great for Garmin VIRB Ultra 30

It’s a memory card, it works. Im running in a Garmin VIRB Ultra 30. Class three speed boys!

Using for 4k video and it’s doing a great job!

Using the Pro Plus in my Yi 4K+ action cam and it is doing great at 4k/60fps!
