I want to start by saying this mount worked just fine and I’m still using it for my 65” Samsung KS9000.However I feel like its over priced but its not like I didnt know that going into it so shame on me.The KS9000 is so thin you can only screw into the back 5 turns or so, which is NOT confidence inspiring. I even went as far as using a depth gauge to make sure the screws were screwed all the way in until they bottomed out. You’ll see in the pic there is a “tilt” to the screws going into the back of the TV. But I was able to hang from the mounts so I’m not worried about it.The mounts are all metal and feel high quality, however leveling the TV isn’t a very smooth experience. You’ll want two people to life up and slide it left or right.The KS9000 is a little under 2 ³⁄₄” off the wall at the front of the screen.

KS series works with slight modification

I wanted to give this 5 stars but couldn’t due to the fact that the mount online is specified as working with ks8000 series but it is not. However i did get it to work flawlessly with minimal modification. My tv now sits about 1 to 1.5 from the wall i would say (not home to measure exactly. Although the spacing is 400mm, my wall had studs that were placed just right to be able to secure the mount so it wasnt relying on dry wall to hold it in place. To modify the parts all you need is a cylindrical sanding bit. On the 4 main pieces that secure to the tv, there are some flared out areas of plastic that prevent the mounts from fitting in the holes where the bolts are. Just sand these parts down until they are smooth all around. Once thats done, use the provided 28mm bolts for the top and the 35mm bolts for the bottom and it fits perfect. Tv looks fantastic although my wife says it needs moved up so the little ones cant play with the screen.

Used it for my UN60KS8000 tv, not part of the instructions but it worked.

I used it to hang my 60” KS8000 television. The website claims it is compatible with this wall mount but the instructions doesn’t mention this model. I ended up using the instructions for the KU7000. You use the S-8 M8x64 with the holder rings supplied with your television. I would have liked the tv to be a bit more closer to the wall but it looks fine. The instructions without the holder rings didn’t work since the power connector in the socket behind the tv was a bit thicker than the rings. TV is now 3” from the wall when measured (wall till back of the edge)

This mount included a wall template, without it I wouldn’t have attempted install, not much room for error.When installed correctly, fit is perfect and gives that slim wall mounted look your going for.Keep in mind Samsung mounts are not universal! Branded mounts have a specific model type of TV they need to be matched up with OR they will have fitment issues. Check before installing all hardware kits are compatible with your specific TV

Works great after I figured out how to read the instructions. The TV is hanging nicely on the wall, but the instructions were very confusing at first. Made for a gazillion of different TV sizes and models, and not easy to read. They should have printed more separate instructions for all the different models.

Instructions bad. Mount okay. Samsung, do better!

Samsung’s instructions are not that wonderful, folks. This is a very basic and simplistic TV mount, but using it with the UN55KS8000 TV left a bit to be desired. Beware that you can’t tilt or adjust the TV to suit your viewing needs; it will merely sit against the wall, looking straight forward. If you need a mount that’ll do more than simply hang on the wall, this isn’t the mount for you!

Works good.

Used to mount a 65” Samsung LED TV (prox 50 lbs.). Was able to catch 2 studs, but I feel would be OK with 1 stud and a good drywall anchor for the other. Was easy to mount and easy to level. Mounts TV close to the wall. Lets you swing it away from the wall enough to connect wiring

Misleading description

Do research before you buy… its not compatible with all curved tvs like it states. I have the the un55ks9500 samsung support says it wont work

Not as easy as one would think

I just purchased this wall mount for my 65 inch ks8000. I had read the reviews and some people mentioned you would need additional bolts as the ones supplied were too short.
