Works with Nikon D5100

I bought this because I lost my camera that had my 32 GB SD card in it (Chances have I misplaced it…) so I got this as a backup or temp one till I can either find my bigger one, and I have the Nikon D5100 (That’s not the camera I lost!), This card fits perfectly and works like a charm, came in perfect condition ,I figure if I find my other camera then I just have a second SD card, if I don’t find it and have to replace my 32 GB I still just have a backup SD card! I love it now that I can actually take pictures again with something other than my cell phone!

Small Affordable High Capacity Storage

When I purchased the NIX 10.4” Digital Photo Frame I knew I would need to purchase storage for the unit because it lacked internal memory. I know, but the unit had everything I wanted. And beside the price-point on all forms of portable storage has dropped to next to nothing so letting go $6.99 for a new “SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) Card” was doable. The ProductThe “SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) Card” features a high transfer rate up to a 2.5MB/s burst transfer rate. The unit is backed by a 5-year limited warranty and is fully compatible with all SD-compliant devices.First Impressions:I love this card. What’s not to love; it is easy to use, high capacity; it’s completely plug-n-play. The SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) Card is easy to use, and as I pointed out above, the drive is designed for the Windows Vista, Windows XP and Mac X Operating Systems (OS). All the Operating Systems have the ability to automatically recognize new hardware via plug-n-play technologies. There is no software to install.Once inserted into an available SD media card slot, the SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) Card is automatically set up as a removable drive, and as such is accessible just as any hard drive or a CD/ROM drive. They can even be formatted as boot devices. File transfers are quick and painless via the SD Media card slot, and I have experienced no file corruption to date, nor do I expect any.Be advised, that if you have a preponderance of mapped drives already on your computer, as I do, Windows XP/7 may not assign your removable media the next open drive letter; this happen to me. If you insert the SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) Card and get the message that new hardware has been found and is now available for use, but the device is not assigned a drive letter, you must go to Control Panel /Administrative Tools/ Computer Manager/ Disk Manager, to manually assign the drive letter. But as I stated above I bought this unit to store picture for use with the NIX 10.4” Digital Photo Frame. After I copied said photos to the card I removed it from my Windows 7 computer I inserted it into the NIX and it was immediately recognized it. Nothing could be easier.ConclusionI couldn’t ask for a better product then the SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) Card. If you need a small, versatile, hi-speed, large capacity replacement for those pesky floppy drives, or smaller capacity flash drives look no further than the SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) Card.

Works just fine!

Well, I cannot remember why I got this because I’ve had a few phones since I got it. I do know it was for my phone.Regardless, it has switched phones each time I get a new one because usually you get 2Gs with the phone and I need more than that.It has kept all of my files just perfectly, I’ve had it for over a year now with no problems. I have also downloaded all of my contacts and imported from the card each time I lose my contacts (SmartPhones are sometimes not too smart when it comes to this or maybe it’s just me :-) ). Regardless, it’s a life-saver because somehow my phones (currently a Samsung Droid Charge but I had a Samsung Galaxy SII before this) tend to lose contacts from time to time with no explaination, despite my Backup Assistant. If you want a nice working, long-lasting SD Card, go for it. No reason yet to give it less stars than 5. No complaints.

It arrived in a timely manner, and works OK …

It arrived in a timely manner, and works OK. But the speed of writing to the card is fairly slow. The actual write speed was not mentionedin the advertising for it, nor is it marked on the card itself; so, I don’t know the actual write speed of the card While I might have guessed that the low price of the card might have to do with its slower speed, I didn’t think about this or ask the seller….I would caution other buyers to consider this question and to ask the seller before they buy the card, especially if they are expecting a relatively fast card.

A Workhorse

I have used these cards in my trail cameras out in the woods. Never had one fail even having them out all winter. Still use them in my older trail cameras . I use higher capacity and faster write speed cards now in my newer cameras

San Disc - the best hands down!

San Disc has never failed me. I use them exclusively. They are strong and well made. I have even accidentally washed and dried several of them (pen drives only) and still had them work perfectly afterwards!

Works Great !!!

Using this in my new digital camera allows me to use a larger photo format than I could in the past. This chip works perfectly.

Works Great and best for Point and Shoot Photography !

First up a word of warning : certain cameras cannot read memory above a certain capacity so make sure that your camera is capable of handling an 8GB SDHC card.Now..I have had this card for more than two years now and it is in great working condition. It is ideal for a point and shoot camera from any manufacturer. Plugging it in and out of my camera and inserting it into the slot on my laptop hasn’t damaged its integrity one bit(pun intended). I have been able to take thousands of pictures and just like good music needs to be listened on high quality surround equipment for maximum enthrallment, my camera and this card have come together to give us some great memories.Coming to the cons it does have issues recording HD videos for a sustained period. I would recommend moving to a higher category card or just buy a camcorder if you are more of a video guy. The packaging wasn’t what I was expecting turning up in a poor but pithy bubble wrap. However, since this was for personal use, it did not matter. In the end, I am satisfied with my purchase. It loses half a point for recording less than stated speed and half for the lack of a case. However for the price and more than adequate performance, it can’t be beat. I will commend Sandisk for manufacturing high quality SD cards over the years and would advocate this card for every amateur photographer out there.
