Product Reviews

New version works with Gopro Hero 5

Initially I thought it wouldn’t work with the new Gopro hero 5 black because of some of the reviews. But, then I read that this product was later updated to support 4K recording. I decided to make a video recording test because I also read something about the video suddenly stopping while recording. I recorded about an hour and a half (the length of the battery duration) and I did not have an issue I was able to play it back successfully as well. I recorded in both 4k and 2.7 k.

As advertised

Read and write is great! Going into my gopro hero5 session.

GoPro Hero5 - SD Card Error Fix

As many have noted, this card does not work right off the bat with GoPro Hero5 Black. You will get an SD Card Error. After an hour of screwing around with it, I reformatted the card in the preferences menu on the camera and then it still didn’t work. In order for it to work you have to then choose the restore factory settings option after reformatting and then it will work. This was very confusing but at least it works now. Hope this helps!

Good speeds for the price. 70mb/sec read and almost 50mb/sec write on a 128gb card.

Formats in my S7 to 121gb. I don’t have a USB 3.0 reader so I can not give it a fair benchmark on my PC, but using A1 SD Benchmark (free on Google Play) it scores 73mb/sec reading and 49mb/sec writing. I have no problems recording 4K video, slow motion or photos directly to the SD card.

Perfect for the cell phone, let’s hope it lasts.

PRO:1. Works well, so far, hope it does not crash like the last one.2. Gotta find that U3 symbol, it’s all about that U3.3. Adapter is nice.CON:1. Read write speeds could be a little better, but I can’t complain too much.2. Last one poooped out on me, so lets hope this one hold up.OTHER:1. BUY if you want some top 10 speeds.2. DON’T BUY if you are looking for the latest and greatest speeds at this price.

I figured I’d spend a little more to get something that might work a little better. I got this card

I purchased this only because someone accidentally threw away my SD card I use for my GoPro Hero. I figured I’d spend a little more to get something that might work a little better. I got this card, put it in the camera, and it displayed “SD ERR.” I couldn’t reformat it or do anything and I quickly realized the card was nearly melting every time it was inserted into the camera. I’m guessing it had an internal short. They sent me out a replacement and it works just fine. It gets three stars because the first one didn’t work at all, and because I don’t really see how this card is better than the Samasung Evo card I had previously at nearly half the cost.

Used to upgrade New Nintendo 3DS storage

Works perfectly with no complaints, now I have over 200,000 “blocks” (units of storage, I dont know why nintendo doesn’t use standard data measurements) on my 3ds instead of several thousand (4GB included micro SDHC card)This does not require any extra formatting to work directly out of the box with a 3ds as it is formatted as FAT32 already which is what the 3ds requires. Boots the 3ds somewhat faster than slower SD cards, but the main sticking points were maxing out the 3ds (it can only use up to 32GB micro SHDC cards) at an affordable price which this card manages to do.

Great to expand storage on your Nintendo Switch

I use this for expanded storage on my Nintendo Switch. No issues thus far. I chose this one to allow for quick reads of the data so gameplay would not be impacted.

Awesome little card, works flawlessly

Flawless, you put it in, it works great, you forget about it. That’s the whole point of something like this and that’s what it does.

SanDisk is a good brand. Be sure to buy the transfer speed …

works as advertised. used it for months no issues. SanDisk is a good brand. Be sure to buy the transfer speed your device specifies.

Did not work as advertised for 4K, only worked for 1080p

I bought this microSD card specifically for filming 4K with Hero6. Initially it did not allow me to record - after reformatting, I was able to record in 1080p but when I tried to…

As described.

As should be.
