Product Reviews

Best there is! Top FULL HD Video and More. No need to hesitate Here.

I did a lot of research to get the best SD card for my use (Mainly video) with my Canon T6i. I am convinced this SD Card is best on the market. The reason it is Labeled *****“Newest Version” ******is because they have a new “Video Speed Class” rating system V10, V30, V60, V90 which means 10/30/60/90 MB/s (megabytes per second) these are MINIMUM WRITING Speeds for when you are actually recording video or taking pictures. With v30 or higher you get best FULL HD quality video and great 4K. This card is BEST for HD video and fast motion picture taking (sports) because of fast writing speed. So you are able to get more frames in your burst shots or vid. **I uploaded a opening review video to help anyone contemplating this purchase, and share what I’ve learned.

90MB/s Read, 50MB/s Write

I was skeptical about buying a non-pro version of this card but it’s clear that it’s high quality and and that write speeds are above what they promised.Read: 90MB/sWrite: 50MB/sCompared to other cards like the PNY Elite Performance, this card’s performance is on par with PNY’s 50-60MB/s write speeds. The max rate will depend on your writer, though, and for most cases, DSLRs don’t write this fast. As a fact, the Canon 5DM3’s SD card write speed peaks at 23MB/s.

OK SD Card That Does Not Meet Top Read Speeds

This 128gb card is working well with my GX85 and RX100III cameras. It can handle the 4K video recording without issue on the GX85. Write speeds live up to expectations but the read speeds are a bit lower than expected.I tested the card speed multiple ways and with different programs. I saw and average of 75MB/s read speed and 64MB/s write speed over and average of ten tests.

Best Value SD Card for 4K

I’d been using the SanDisk Ultra for a good few months and occasionally when recording 4K footage on my Panasonic G85, the video recording would stop with a warning screen. While you can restart the recording after a 10 second wait, it does make recording with the camera unreliable. To solve this, I switched over to the SanDisk Extreme SDXC, I did initially consider the SanDisk Extreme Pro, however for my use case of recording 100Mb/s 4K, I hoped that the SanDisk Extreme would be fast enough. In the testing, I found that both card’s read speeds were very similar, however the write speeds was where there was a big difference. The SanDisk Ultra’s write speeds ranged from 8-40MB/s, which was too unreliable for constant 4K recording. While the SanDisk Extreme’s write speed was always above 60MB/s.PURCHASESanDisk Extreme: SanDisk Extreme 256GB SDXC UHS-I Card - SDSDXVF-256G-GNCIN [Newest Version]

Well worth the $

Use in my Sony a6300. Can shoot on hi+ (11fps stills) raw+jpeg with minimal buffering, even with several second bursts at a time. I thought these were going to be a gimmic, but compared to my class 10 “ultra” card of the same size, much better performance. I’m going to be buying these exclusively from now on.

Fast, but maybe not the best for the money

Fast, but not quite as fast as advertised. I have a couple of Patriot SD cards that are faster for a better price.

Great card. From my research

Great card. From my research, it’s better to get the 32GB than the 64GB for reading purposes. This card holds plenty. I got two just in case. Works great. Slips right into my Macbook Air with it’s built in card reader, but a seperate one can be purchased also. Great buy.

Don’t waste your time ☹️

Used this card twice and the card is reading on my camera that it is full when it is not. Honestly I’m really upset but when I’ve bought these cards somewhere else they are extremely reliable. As a photographer I could. Or imagine if this happened during a session.

Tough and reliable.

Incredible product! My heart sank as I withdrew my clothes from the washer only to find this at the bottom of the basin.

Camera

Worked well on my film camera. Made my pictures look nicer I think.

Works wonders!

It has most definitely served me well on my trips. Definitely faster than I expected and I rarely find myself having to grab a backup SD. Would definitely recommend.

GREAT CARD!!

I’m sure this is a great memory card. However, when I received my package the card was missing.
