New version works with Gopro Hero 5

Initially I thought it wouldn’t work with the new Gopro hero 5 black because of some of the reviews. But, then I read that this product was later updated to support 4K recording. I decided to make a video recording test because I also read something about the video suddenly stopping while recording. I recorded about an hour and a half (the length of the battery duration) and I did not have an issue I was able to play it back successfully as well. I recorded in both 4k and 2.7 k.

GoPro Hero5 - SD Card Error Fix

As many have noted, this card does not work right off the bat with GoPro Hero5 Black. You will get an SD Card Error. After an hour of screwing around with it, I reformatted the card in the preferences menu on the camera and then it still didn’t work. In order for it to work you have to then choose the restore factory settings option after reformatting and then it will work. This was very confusing but at least it works now. Hope this helps!

Great in my LG G6

I’m a tech geek, but not to the extent of measuring specs and complaining when a product doesn’t meet them (numberwise). For me, it’s more about functionality. I bought this card for storage size and speed (4k video recording needs some, haha), as well as the fact that I trust the SanDisk name for SD cards.Well, it functions fine. I’ve moved all my high-volume storage apps over to it now, including my camera storage, and other than a few app specific issues (which are definitely APP specific, as other similar apps have no problem finding my data on the card), everything is as expected.

Go-to MicroSD card

This is my go-to card for each MicroSD device I own. Is it overkill for the Phantom 4 drone? Probably not. For the dashcam? Definitely. But it works, and works well, interchangeably, and I never need to worry if the card I’ve got has fast enough transfer speeds for my application.Sandisk is a well-known brand and they make quality products - you can trust them. I have had one fail, however - the card got corrupted it seems. But that could have been a device error, and reformatting the card seemed to solve the problem.They’re cheap; buy two and keep a spare.These do come with adapters so you can put them in any standard SD card slot (like the one in your computer, for easy copying).

A card that can write fast and record more than 2 hours in AVCHD @ 60fps. Perfect for action cameras.

128 GB of usable storage and very fast. I have bought 3 and need another. These have been useful in a Canon Vixia camcorder with the adapter to make it large and in my cell phone and inside a Sony Action Camera. Finally I can record more than 2 hours of footage in AVCHD @ 60fps in the action camera before needing to format the card. So very happy and never had any problems with data corruption.

Disk is fine but adapter did not work.

This disk works well with my GoPro Hero 5 Black. Unfortunately, the adapter that came with it does not work. I have another ScanDisk adapter that I purchased quite some time ago that does work so I am able to transfer the videos from camera to computer. I will purchase more of these before my summer outings.
