Size:64GB Capture more fast action and record more Full HD or 4K Ultra HD-ready video with your Android based smartphone, action or MIL camera. SanDisk Extreme cards are built tough for extreme durability even under challenging environmental conditions. Fast speeds reduce the time you’re on hold while your pictures and videos move to your card or from your card to your computer. Storage capacities from 16GB to 64GB expand device memory and leave room to record video that’s ready for the new 4K Ultra HD television screens and monitors.

Product Reviews

Great for GoPro 4k cameras!

I’ve been using these SanDisk Extreme microSDs in my GoPro since they came out. They’ve become my “go-to” SD card. I have found them to be fast, reliable, and resilient. I was using C10 SDs which are good for HD but can sometimes bog down with 4k, so I was very happy to see the release of these new faster ones. This one is UHS3 which means it’s faster than a C10. I read on SanDisk’s website that the Extreme line is also designed to withstand more abuse: moisture, dust, banging around, which makes them very well suited for GoPro use. There’s one more huge benefit in using these SanDisk Extremes: the color! Almost all other microSDs are black or dark blue so there easy to lose if they are anywhere with a bunch of black equipment (every single accessory and removable piece of the GoPro is black plastic.) These, on the other hand, are always easy to see and locate. Even when it’s mounted in the GoPro it’s the red and gold end is visible so you can tell that there’s a card loaded in the camera just by glancing at it. It’s the little things that make life easier…PS - Writing reviews has become an accidental hobby for me, and it always makes my day to know that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why.) Also, if you have any questions, clarifications, or comments please feel free to leave a comment below. I usually respond pretty quickly and almost always within 24 hours.Cheers, Claire

✔ ✔ ✔ Stores / Captures GoPro Shots 35% Faster and Transfers to Laptop 20% Faster, Compared to the Older Version..!!

✔ ✔ ✔ UHS-I SPEED CLASS 3 SUPPORTED(Translation : Awesome for 4K Video Recording..!!)This memory card complies with the latest UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) standards, which means that it guarantees excellent performance while recording videos into this card by ensuring minimum writing speeds for smooth recording of high-res 4K video content in your camcorders like GoPro.To be more specific for the people who care about things of this sort - this card is UHS-I/U3, which means it belongs to SPEED CLASS 3 of the UHS-I standards. There is also a UHS-II standard, which supports faster bus speeds when used with UHS-II supported host devices. Basically, UHS-I and UHS-II differ in the bus interface or the pin layout of the card. UHS-I/UHS-II cards in-turn come in two different speed class ratings - U1 (Speed Class 1) and U3 (Speed Class 3).This specific Sandisk micro-sd card supports Speed Class3 of the UHS-I Bus Mode. That’s basically what it means when they say UHS-I/U3.➽ BENCHMARK TESTSThe image uploaded shows the comparison benchmark between the older Sandisk Extreme 32 GB (ASIN: B00M55BS8G), and the newer Sandisk Extreme 64 GB (the product being reviewed).✔ ✔ ✔ TEST OUTCOME : The newer version does approximately 20% faster reads and 35% faster writes sequentially, compared to the older one✔ ✔ ✔ In real life, this translates to the fact that shooting videos and photos directly into this micro sd card (sequential writes) in your camera, like in a GoPro, would be 35% faster than the older one. Additionally, transferring these photo / movie files into your computer (sequential reads) would now be 20% faster than the previous version of Sandisk extreme.➽ TEST ENVIRONMENTAs you can see, the tests have been done using the latest CrystalDiskMark v5.0.2 64bit software. These tests consist of three passes, each of which in-turn comprises of 9 test runs - all of this just to make sure that the benchmark results are not just a “one-off” thing. All tests were ran on a Quad-Core / 16 GB RAM Windows 7 HP laptop with no background programs running, using the respective OEM SD Card readers from Sandisk.➽ EXPLANATION OF TEST TYPESSeq Q32T1: Sequential (Block Size=128KiB) Read/Write with multi Queues & Threads4K Q32T1: Random 4KiB Read/Write with multi Queues & ThreadsSeq: Sequential (Block Size=1MiB) Read/Write with single Thread4K: Random 4KiB Read Write with single Queue & Thread

Some of the worst performing cards in this review also happen to be the most expensive. Not all 633x cards are created equal. The two cards reviewed from Lexar and Transcend are both marked as 633x but vary in performance greatly.4k video recording using action cams and drone cameras have a typical bitrate of 60mbps or 100mbps, corresponding to 7.5MB/s to 12.5MB/s. All cards in this review should theoretically be able to handle this usage easily.Using microsd card as supplemental phone storage potentially could benefit from a faster card,Best Looking Card (if it matters):Sandisk Extreme Pro: Red/Gold with white printLexar 1000x: White/Gold with Black/White printSamsung Pro+: White/Black with a red stripe and Black/White printPNY Turbo: Lime Green/Black with Black/White printUpdate 9/14/2015: Added additional cards to the list.Update 9/18/2015: Added 128GB Sandisk Ultra and Lexar 633xUpdate 9/21/2015: Added 2 PNY Elite Performance cardsUpdate 11/28/2015: Added Sandisk Extreme and Extreme plus 64GBUpdate 11/29/2015: Added Samsung EVO+ 128GB and PNY high performance 128GB

Five Stars

was a gift

Not bad.

Using A1 SD Bench app on my LG G5, I get 82MB/s read and 50MB/s write. Not bad.

Great little cards, pro videographer approved!

These bad boys are great! I use them for my action cameras, drones, etc all the time when filming and I’ve never once had any problems with them, even after completely totaling…

Great MSD!

Well, not much to review here. Does what it says it should and does it well! Works fast, can take a little beating in my gopro too!
