Waterproof, Temperature proof, X-ray proof & Shockproof
SanDisk Extreme microSDHC and microSDXC Cards expand available memory and decrease downtime while large files transfer from phone to card or card to computer. Now the UHS-class-3-rated Extreme microSD Card gives users the speed and capacity to capture video that looks great on Full HD and 4K Ultra HD video screens. This is the 64GB edition.
As the only MicroSD card that Amazon sells that is on GoPro’s officially supported SD card list, it’s obvious why most people buy this for use with their GoPro. Other then that, it’s a standard MicroSD card. It does it’s job, doesn’t complain, and is reliable as I would expect a SanDisk product to be. What makes me mad is GoPro told me that the first card I bought (an Ultra class card) was not fast enough for my GoPro Hero 4 Session. I was having issues where the camera would shut off after 5-8 mins of recording. They said the write speed was too slow. Well, I used a USB 3.0 card reader on my USB 3.0 port and achieved the same read/write speeds on both cards (give or take 5MB/s), so I think GoPro really just tries to up sell you to get the one direct from them which is also a SanDisk Extreme, but more expensive. The customer service advisor even went so far as to say that the Ultra card would cause the camera to not respond, and brick itself. While I was out filming I thought I was going to run out of space so I went to Best Buy and picked up another Ultra class card, which worked just fine. GoPro support neglected to mention that even if the camera was plugged in while recording, if the battery was below a certain threshold, it will stop recording after a couple minutes. As long as my GoPro is fully charged, as long as I have it plugged into the USB cable I can record until the card is full. So, if you want to play it safe, this is the card to get for use with your GoPro.
I use these in my cellphones. Android 6 allows adoptable memory. is, phones memory is 8gb. You add a 64gb card. adopt it, now the 8gb is used for is and system updates and the SD card is use by the phone for everything else. How it should be.
Using for GoPro camera and it works perfectly. No complaints. I suspect there are less expensive alternatives storage disks, but not sure if they are as fast.
Works perfect with my GoPro Hero+LCD. I was I initially worried that this might be a knock-off but it’s not. It come delivered in SanDisk packaging and works perfectly.
Works perfectly in my GoPro Hero 4 Silver. I have already used this for several dives in Mexico and the U.S. and the card works perfectly.
SanDisk products are the best. This card tests out fast!
I have bought several of these for Cameras and have not had any issues.
I use several SanDisk micro cards and other than occasional music skips, I’ve never had a problem. I’m not sure if the card or the phone/player is at fault with the music skipping; while it is a bit annoying, moving onto the next song appears to resolve everything. I also use these in a car and gopro camera with good results.
Works with my GoPro
Perfect for my GoPro. Works great!
Why would This not already be in NTFS format? I can’t use this thing because it won’t even let me change the format.
Great price, useing it in a GoPro session 5
