Product Reviews

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch and it’s great. I formatted it using Nintendo’s recommended formatting tool and I haven’t had any issues w/ it.

128GB card tested at 88MB/s read, so it meets its claim

This card tested at 88MB/s read, so it meets its claim. The 4K speeds are fairly slow at 5MB/s and the sequential write is 15.8 MB/s which should suffice for most applications. This will work well for most people’s needs.Tests done on a Kingston FCR-HS3 USB 3.0 reader using CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 x64.Product ID on the package was SDSQUNC-128G-GN6MAUPC was 619659133795

Great Storage Solution for Watching Movies on your Android Tablet

I’ve been using this SanDisk Ultra 64Gb Card in my Verizon 8” Ellipsis tablet for about 6 months and it has been extremely reliable for storing and allowing playback of a large amount of movies I’ve converted from DVD to MP4s for the kids to watch. Since the card comes with an SD Card adaptor, I can easily copy the videos using my Mac’s SD slot and then insert the microSD card into the slot of the tablet. At 64GB, I have plenty of room for 50 or more videos. I haven’t noticed any lag or buffering issues when playing the movies back using the VLC Video application on the tablet.Like most Amazon shoppers, I count on honest, unbiased reviews. I hope you have found this review helpful in making your purchase decision.

Melted in my laptop, shorted out my GoPro.

My GoPro said “SD ERROR” and kept shutting down, so took the card out of my GoPro, and put it into SanDisk’s adapter, and inserted it into my laptop to try to format it.Suddenly curls of smoke rose from my laptop’s SD card port and I smelled burning plastic, so I pulled the card out, and found this. It was super hot, and there’s a possibility it might have caught fire if I’d left it in the laptop for longer. The other three work fine in both the GoPro and the Laptop: they haven’t melted yet, but now I’m concerned.I’ve attached a picture of the melted card, because “pics or it didn’t happen”. Well, it happened, and there’s the result.

You want the best, so you buy the best.

SanDisk is great at producing quality products. I have a bunch of these cards and this one is no different. I purchased this memory card because I needed one for the Samsung Galaxy Gear 360. The cool thing is I did not have to format the card. I popped it in to the Gear 360 and the formatting was done for me. Keep in mind that buying a 64 gb card does not mean you get 64 gb of storage. You get 59.60 gb. Keep in mind that if you plan on shooting 4k video on any camera to factor in the amount of space per minute. For the Gear 360 the 64 gb card holds about 13 minutes of 4k footage (450 mb per minute). This card keeps up with the writing speed of 4k.I also have the same card in a Raspberry Pi 3 and I have had no issues. For anyone without a Raspberry Pi 3 just know that it is not always easy to tell that your device is powered off because the power light remains on when the device is powered down. So, there have been plenty of times that I have thought the device was turned off, unplugged, and found out that I forgot to do a step or two before the device was fully powered down. Still, I have had no issues with corruption on the memory card. For the current price of this card, you would be hard pressed to find anything better. I haven’t had any issues with the card melting, overheating, or corrupting. The only issue I could think of is that microSD cards are so small that they are easily lost. That’s not a knock on SanDisk.PROS■ Price/performance ratio is stellar;■ Great speed for 4k video; and■ No corruption issues (so far);CONS■ Not a knock on SanDisk but these cards are easily lost.

Best SD on the market

SanDisk are my goto for all SD card needs. Never had a problem with them. Have multiple sizes for my different stuff, like Raspberry Pi’s, my PSP with adapter for MS Pro Duo etc.Couldn’t be happier. Read/Write speed is really good, I easily hit 80-90MB/s. None of them have failed me as of yet, never had any problems with corrupted or missing data.

So far so good

Pretty decent card. Write speeds are pretty low (between 25MB and 36MB), read speeds are 80MB-93MB…at least on MY machine. This is replacing a “Patriot” 128GB card in my Samsung Note 4…. the Patriot card SEEMED OK for about 2 months…then every video on it began to stutter, and show artifacts. No, it wasn’t my phones fault. Copied all video files off card, and they still stuttered, and showed artifacts on my blazing fast home pc…. the card was just corrupting data. HOPEFULLY this card will archive well….I’ve never had a problem form Sandisk cards or flash drives ever before, and regret my decision to go with the cheaper “Patriot” on my last buy. Will update this review in a couple months to verify it’s worthiness.

Used for DJI Mavic Pro, great product, beware of lock slider on adapter

Does what it’s supposed to do. Writes quickly enough for taking photos and video on my DJI Mavic drone in 4k. Only warning I’d say is that the lock slider on the adapter slides way too easily so when I plug/unplug it from the SD reader. This would cause issues when I’m trying to quickly transfer files to my hard drive or Macbook Pro. Keep in mind this is the adapter NOT the actual microSD, which is the meat of this item and works great!

My Son…

My Son is gonna love this with his Christmas gift.
