Nice TV-OK sound quality
Received this today. Was able to program the tv/cable without problems. The set up was pretty easy. The picture is fantastic, but the sound is tinny. I’ve tried different settings and it doesn’t seem to help. I may try a sound bar. Bottom line is this is a great TV for the price. I would recommend it to my friends.Update: I’ve attached the sound bar. No change to sound quality. I played a DVD and had to turn the volume up to 100 just to hear it. I will leave the 4 stars for the picture quality. I am seriously thinking about returning this TV as I am so disappointed in the sound. After several hours of watching/listening to the TV, I have a headache. I would recommend this to friends with a warning about the sound.7/31/16 Another update: Not wanting to mess with sending this item back, I decided to play with the menu. Adjusted the sound; more bass, less treble and the sound settings. Sound is much improved. Not great, but better. Not as tinny. Glad I decided to mess around with the Menu and the sound settings.

Great television. Just do NOT buy the Amazon recommended wall mount kit. It does not fit and the plate to fit the TV cost more than the wall mount kit. So buy the TV first and then buy the kit. The kit just states “Fits 21”, 24” etc…

Bought this TV for our workout room and am very happy with it. The clarity of the picture is fantastic and the colors are great. I specifically was looking for a TV DVD combo to fit on top of a desk hutch and found the selection was limited. This TV fits my needs perfectly and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it.
This tv has the worst sound. Piercing tin can sound that could make your ears bleed.
I read the reviews that mentioned the poor sound quality but decided to give it a try. This tv has the worst sound! There is zero bass in the speakers. It was almost painful to listen to. On the second day the speakers started rattling even at a very low volume. Beyond the audio, the picture was pretty good and the DVD player works, (although it does make a loud humming when it plays). Please note that there is only one HDMI port. The remote control functions are awkward. I’m packing it up and returning it tomorrow. Luckily I hadn’t thrown out the 6 year old tv it was replacing.
Factory set parental control on DVD player that can’t be turned off!
This is an awful tv/DVD combo! You CANNOT turn off the parental control for the DVD player! It apparently was factory set and, no matter what instructions we used, they could not be turned off! You have to enter the factory set code any time you watch s movie above rated G and if the code is wrong, you have to turn it off and take out the movie to start over. It won’t let you play the movie! The DVD took forever to load as well!

Bought from this brand before and dvd never worked.Tried again and this time,no issues.Very easy to set up.Good picture quality.I have no issues with sound.Built in dvd is awesome,one less cord to deal with.Remote is very lightweight,do not know if it can handle being dropped.Did come with batteries.

You get what you pay for.
The stand for tabletop viewing is cheap plastic. The weight of this lightweight tv is unsupported by the stand. It leans toward the side with the DVD player. The sound is thin.
Not Worth the Money
I purchased this for my 11 year old daughter since we don’t allow our kids to have cable in their bedrooms. I thought it would be nice to have the dvd player in the tv.

Base stand attachment cheap, difficult to screw tight with mini screws not synced well. After almost 2 hours trying to putt entire weight and sterngth to get as tight as possible…

We installed this tv in our camper and so far it has worked perfectly. I read other comments concerning the sound quality, but my family feels it is just fine for the camper.
