Reliable, portable, lightweight, powerful, awesome!

I purchased this on May 22, 2014. I have used it as a backup in my trunk. It fits perfectly inside the rim of my donuts on my 2003-2008 Pontiac Vibe. I have used it to jump two cars. I use the light every now and then too. I do keep it charged by taking it out every 2 months and topping it off. During the summer I keep this in my boat just incase my radio runs the marine battery dead while we are on the sandbar. In the spring I use it to raise and lower my boat motor trim so I don’t have to lug the battery out to move the boat without dragging the keel. I have even used the 12V power socket to charge a GPS before we went on vacation (long story). You really cannot go wrong with this unit. I paid $32 shipped in 2014 and I see the price is still around there so I will be buying this again if I ever need to.

Works way better then i expected!

I use this thing everyday at work and i had low expectations for this but for the price it works awesome i leave it charging all the time but working in autobody i deal with cars with dead batterys all the time! Sometimes it has a hard time but for starting the average car!

Quality, Durability, Convenience

This has held up well, and still works just as well as when I purchased this three years ago. I love the convenience, and have only used it a handful of times. To maintain it, I have a calendar reminder once a month (as part of other calendar reminders) to charge the battery. In a way, I’ve probably spent more time maintaining it than actually using it, but all in all it’s really held up well, and I like the peace of mind it provides.

Worth Every Penny.

Needed it the day it arrived. Started a new job and could not be late. I was trying to diagnose my alternator issue. Battery would not charge enough after making short trips. The day it arrived I charged it for a few hours, though it appeared to be fully charged upon arrival. I tried to start the car but not enough juice to turn over. I attached the jumper cables and it started right up. It came through two other times late at night when no was at gas stations. Really saved my butt.

Helped save someone else’s car with this!

I keep this for emergencies in my trunk. I’ve only used it once, but it was for someone else’s car who was stranded. I was a little nervous ‘cuz I wasn’t sure if it was gonna pull through, but we hooked it up, he turned his ignition, and BAM!, the car turned on immediately. It worked great!The only downside this unit has is that the plug are just prongs that flip out of the unit; it’s not a cord. You’d either have to put it on top of something to get it level with your outlet, or hook it up to an extension cord yourself.I hope I never actually have to use this, but if I ever do, I’ll be confident that it’ll pull through.

I’ve already used this jumpstarter box on a car and a lawn mower and it works. Comes with one year warranty and has a little light on it that you can turn on and has battery level indicator. It doesn’t have an on/off switch when ur jumping a battery, it starts charging the battery when you get a complete circuit and stops once the thing you jumped has started up. Make sure you clean battery corrosion before jumping with any kind of jumper cable. Has a little spot on the front where you can plug in electronics that has a 12v charger. It’s money worth spent

I added a star because it worked and was easy for two novices to figure out. However, I knocked this down a star because it didn’t appear new as described. I’m keeping it because it’s a hassle to return it and it did work when I needed it.

This is a smart purchase.

Picked up one of these portable jump starters for emergency use. Actually I’ve only used it to start my car once due to loose cables. But a lot of people I run across day to day need it. And it works without a hitch every time. This is a smart purchase.

When it worked,it was just okay. The cables are too short so you have to somehow balance it on some part of your engine. If your battery is in a narrow compartment forget it.
