Great teaching tool!

My 10 yr old son plays tournament travel ball and is a pitcher. This will be a great tool for him to practice his strike zones. We will also be taking it to practice so the other pitchers can use it too. It has a good weight to it. He will be excited on Christmas morning when he opens it. Received the item in 3 days. Thanks!

It’s easy to see from the pitcher’s mound (and while catching) …

I’ve read a lot of reviews about an issue with peeling paint, but that must have been an earlier version of this plate. I’ve had it for a couple of months now in both hot and cold conditions and there are no issues whatsoever. It’s easy to see from the pitcher’s mound (and while catching) and rolls for easy storage. Great product.

Good Pitching Tool

This is a straight forward product for use with pitcher training. We use this to focus on precision location. Speed is important, but at some point being able to hit spots typically separates the good from the great.Homerun: The quality of this plate is high. It is thicker than the cheap throw down bases and I expect it to last a reasonable time.Strikeout: I’d rather see the red and green stripes switch places. That’s all I’ve got on the negative.Favorite use: Pitching everydays.

I purchased two of these to allow my catchers to assist the pitchers on spotting the ball. The catchers carry the plate with them in their gear bag. I purchased this brand for durability of the product. The colors are vivid and there is no question of where the ball is

I love my strike zone home plate

I love my strike zone home plate! Being a pitching coach you can never be to precise on where you want the pitch thrown! This rubber home plate helps pitchers understand where the ball is to cross the plate when using specific pitches. I address it as if it hits the red its a homerun, and we want to keep the ball on the green! that helps my players understand and focus on where we want each pitch! I love it!

Flexible sturdy plate - well made!

I purchased these for my high school softball team and they have been great! The color coding is very good for new pitchers and it has been helpful for my batters as well. They are made of a flexible rubber but not cheaply made. We carry them in the catcher’s bags so we will have a plate for pitchers to warm up at away games. I truly feel they are a plus for any pitcher to have!I would recommend not to use for regular hitting because the cleats will scuff the colors.

Great Product

Schutt’s Strike Zone Home Plate is a great product! It fits in any backpack or catcher’s bag since it is flexible and light (but also durable). It can be used inside or outside. Usually thinner, lighter plates slip and slide on a gym floor, but this plate DOES NOT…it stays in place very well. I love the three colors, which teach about pitching in the strike zone!

Must have for pitchers!

This product has helped my pitchers understand the importance of hitting their spots as well as recognizing pitch location. The colors are bold and has held up during 2 months of practice.
