Worth Every Penny

If you are going to be riding long distances you need a seat that is comfortable. This seat is the perfect blend of performance and comfort. It looks great and encourages you to stay on your bike and keep riding, which is basically the point. If you want to log more miles and actually enjoy it, I recommend this seat.

If there is a higher entity, he definitely helped create this saddle. And if not, my rear-end is certainly very thankful for the people that designed & made this saddle. I don’t know how many saddles Ive ridden, but hands-down for a modern saddle, this is the best one I’ve ridden. Still debating if the classic Selle San Marco Regal -Titanium is my all time favorite, or if this could possibly take that place.183cm / 6,0” 84Kg / 185lb 30 years riding experience. 110mm seat bone distance.

awesome saddle

Comfortable right out of the package - first ride 45 miles. Rode a century after having it only 3 weeks - no problems at all. Great saddle if you want something between a minimal racing saddle and something with a bit of padding. Cutout is really nice if you have numbness issues - I have had zero since getting this. High quality.

Best Bang for the Buck!

Speedy delivery! Pictures do not do this item any justice. I just took this thing on a non-stop half century ride and could not believe how well this product served its purpose. Comfortable and attractive. What more could you want? I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a lightweight saddle. Perfect!!! For me.

I must say this is by far the most comfortable saddle that I have ever owned. I have tried Specialized Henge, Bontrager, Fizik Aliante VSX, Prologo Scratch Pro, and more. This saddle is very popular among my club riders. I am talking about riders tall, thin, small, large, and wide.I am 5’ 8” and weigh 145 lbs. Size 30 waist.

Maintaining the Comfort Factor

Love the feel; able to handle longer rides (60+) without undue discomfort. Attempted numerous others (including a $300.00 Fizik saddle that was extraordinarily uncomfortable after 15 miles!). Would buy this one again! Reason for the 4 star? Surface began discoloring after 6 or 7 rides. A dull gray replacing shiny black surface. Perhaps a design flaw?

Love this saddle

Saddles are a very personal item, what works perfectly for one, feels terrible to another. This is my second SLR Max Gel Flow saddle and it works for me. I have last year’s model on my road bike and have put many miles on it without any discomfort. I built a gravel bike this fall and put this saddle on it and so far it’s been great. Comparing the two, the new one feels a bit stiffer, however the old one currently has over 1000miles on it, so I expect the new one to break-in over time. build quality is great as well. Selle Italia has a saddle fit calculator on their website which is worth looking at as well. It tries to match you to a saddle from the data you provide.

Back in the saddle again

It’s a good saddle. I wouldn’t say a great saddle, but it is a good one. I’m not sure why, but it feels fine for 12-14 miles, then becomes mildly uncomfortable for the next 4-5 miles, then becomes fairly comfortable again for the rest of the ride. It’s really flat. I think I would have preferred a bit more center scooping/angulation, little the flight line.That might have made it a great saddle.

Best seat i’ve owned do far!

I have owned 3 other seats including the one sold with my trek crossrip Ltd, this seat by far is the most supportive, comfortable and power allowing when in the dropped position…
