It is an attractive liner–good thickness but thin enough that the light can come through. There was no smell, so that’s nice. The only downside is that it does not have weights at the bottom, so it does blow into the shower. I wanted to use it by itself, but I had to hang up a cloth curtain on the outside. I hope that helps.
