This is the slowest U1 card I have seen. I put it in my phone, but I didn’t really need it for a while. After having issues with it being slow I decided to benchmark it though a phone App.Read - 7.45MB/sWrite - 2.00MB/sFor comparison my internal flash memory in my phone Writes at 16.36MB/sStay away from these cards unless you just need to store a bunch of data.
Well it did store about 120G formatted. But this thing was slower than molasses on a February morning. It’s supposed to be C10 but I was getting an average of about 4-6Mps while transferring my 70G of MP3s to this thing. This more like C6 or C4 performance. Other microSDs I have transfer in the 30-40Mps range easily. So where other microSDs transferred this collection in less than a hour, this one took over 3 hours. Playback off the card seems to be OK for MP3s, so I won’t send it back. But I am guessing if you try playing back video on any decent resolution you are going to have problems. I’d rate this 2 1⁄2 stars for MEH, if I could. But it did hold my entire collection and I have lots of room to expand, so I’ll be generous and round up here.
I bought this microSD card for use in my GalaxyS7 phone. The storage is about as much as anyone can ask for. I’ve got around 100 albums worth of songs saved to it, a plethora of pictures, and a good number of apps. I do notice some slow load times when I’m trying to play music. Sometimes it’s as long as 30 seconds. Some of that time is probably due to the app I’m using (AmazonMusic) or my phone’s reading speed, but I think most of it is because my music is saved on the SD card. Overall, I can’t be upset with the price I paid for an extra 128 GB of reliable storage on my phone.
I purchased this for my Galaxy S7, used an app on my laptop to format it and it works great. I have loaded all my pics, vids, and moved all my apps to it. Backed up my address book. It writes very fast, almost in a blink of an eye. Because of the capacity you will never run out of space. A great buy for the price and must have for any Galaxy phones.
i have been using this in my HTC U ULTRA for only 2 weeks and on 5 different instances, i got a message saying the card was unexpectedly removed. this is unacceptable for a mobile devise.
A lot of negative reviews I have zero issues with this SD card I use it in my Nintendo switch I have four games on it now it doesn’t heat up it has the correct size it doesn’t fail to read the games or glitch them out. It works very well and I would buy again.
Put in my phone to download all my audible books onto. Worked great when it registered. not so great when it didn’t. Might be my phone messing up at the beginning because 2 months later it i have not had a repeat issue.
It works, it gets the job done, how much more can you say about memory.
Just what I wanted for my new HTC phone.
worked fine until months in, then it could not write or delete files
Installed in an LG V20 smartphone. Initially card was read/write and then it turned into a read only card. I can still see the data on the card using any computer.
I currently use this for my Nintendo Switch. Large amount of memory for a very reasonable price. The memory is plenty fast enough to play games off of and not notice any long load…
Received a faulty product but it was replaced in no time. Replacement works as advertised.
Works.
Does what is expected of an Sd card with corrupting data
I haven’t used it yet but it looked fine when it came in.
HORRIBLE ITEM …. I LOST 2 FULL ALBUMS AND WHEN I MOVED MY PICS THEY DIDNT LOAD AND WERE LOST …. AND IT TAKES LONG TO DELETE AND EXIT A VIDEO ….. SHAME ON YOU …. VERY UPSET.
