I have an old acer aspire 5349 witn 16gb of RAM and a core i7 2640m I bought the marvel 240gb ssd. I got enough speed for what i paid for. Over 500 reads and 400 write is good ssd speeds

Item did not work well in my macbook. Sent back for a SanDisk SSD.

I already knew the brand by another SSD that I own, so I decided to take the same brand for a second hard drive that is dedicated to the different PC games installed on my computer. I have it in 240 gigas and I am fully satisfied.The read and write speeds are good and conform to what is described (to pass from more than 30 seconds to qq seconds for a game is a real comfort!)It’s the same thing if you want to install a Windows on it, the access times are greatly improved.For the SSD drive itself, it comes in blister on behalf of the brand with the specs noted above.It is simple, clean and sufficient. (Easy to open also)The installation is very simple, just open the laptop, and either add it by plugging a SATA cable and a power cable, or replace the old disk with the one. It only takes a few minutes.On my PC it was recognized directly and was ready to usePerformance level, it works with TLC and SLC chips, this seems a good compromise for performance and speed.The TLC part is used for storage and the SLC part for the cache part.This SSD has for characteristics these speeds:Reading: 535 MB / sWriting: 410 MB / sIt also has TRIM, ECC, SMART standards.For those who do not want to bother to reinstall an OS and software, there is a small cloning software, easy to use and quite intuitive. It’s called Todo Backup Free from Easeus. It is free for personal use. I have already used it for my old PC and everything is done correctly with. Others exist but not tested.In short, an SSD that works well.240 gigas for my PC suits me well (some games).A good price-performance ratio.A good investment to rejuvenate a PC with a 3 year warranty by the brand.Satisfied.
