I’m thinking that I just received a bad batch of these balls and am hoping that SKLZ …

There is a noticeable difference between this dozen I purchased here and the balls that came with my lightning bolt. These are softer and less “inflated” and do not come out of the machine how they are supposed to. When mixed with the original balls that the machine came with, it is obvious which are the ones purchased here and which are those that came with the machine.I’m thinking that I just received a bad batch of these balls and am hoping that SKLZ can correct this.

These were a good addition to our SKLZ pitching machine and enable us to do more repetitions between refills. The only issue is with the machine itself and not with the balls. When you add additional balls the machine leans back somewhat which effects pitch placement. Since real pitching is variable this is not a major issue though.

Great for Hand and Eye Coordination

These are great to use with the SKLZ pitching machine or without the machine. The Bolt Balls have really helped my 7 year old with hand and eye coordination in playing baseball.

good training aid

needed more balls for lightning bolt machine, but can also use balls alone for quick hands training, close in hitting traning (for hand eye coordination and bat speed), girls also like to play tag with them with each other (ie throw them at each other).

IFETCH USERS….If you’re looking at these for your iFetch, keep looking.

If you’re looking at these for your iFetch, keep looking. As the ifetch balls are worse than a sharp stick in the eye, I’ve been on the hunt for a good replacement ball. These are not it. They got stuck in the iFetch just as often, if not more than the iFetch balls. They get slobbery from the dog bringing them back, and then they fail to fire. They are much sturdier than ifetch balls, but they are just as useless. SO FAR, the ball in the lead are the Kong XS balls, but its like being the shiniest turd at this point. The search continues.

Great toy for my little Maltese dog!

My little Maltese male LOVES these balls. Of all the many balls he has, these are his favorites. They are 1.5” diameter so they are the prefect size for his small mouth. They have a little bit of a bounce but not much.
